@ It not making sense. How can you say it doesn't make sense? You SHOULD be saying it doesn't FEEL right to use it (to you). But to say it doesn't make sense to use the shot stick on jumpshots really makes no sense

Yea I prefer the button on jumpshots. Everything else is shotstick.

DC get off your on jon. People like to use X for jumpshooting cause when you press the button your guaranteed like 95 percent of the time its actually gunna do a jumpshot. If i press up on the shot stick how do i know if its not gunna make me do a layup into 3 people. If im driving to the right and i wanna take a baseline jumpshot which way on the shot stick do i press?

the shot stick is directional. so you would pull away from the rim wherever you are.
