Since the patch, im batting .134 as a team, with 0 HR's and scoring less than 2 runs a game.

Any advice? On legend, default sliders for the most part. I dont wanna mess with sliders, but it just seems I'm in the toilet right now

Edit: Also, any word on the release of the mini-patch? Thought it was this week.
I was getting too many hits. I have since switched to Legend and put contact down to 3 for me and the AI and power down to 4. Plays great. Moved Fileder run speed to 2 and reactions to 8 and lowered pitcher consistancy to 4. All changes are for bot me and the AI. Prior to doing this, all my games were 12 to 18 hit games. Just too many.

First FIFTEEN games post-patch I hit 1 homerun in my Twins franchise. I started messing with the pitch speed slider, which had been at +4, and I moved it to -3, seemed like the ball was getting to the plate much faster. Last three games my hitting turned around and I'm back to +4 and hitting like I was pre-patch. Must have just been a bad slump.

What I don't get about this patch ithough, is why some people are not getting post game replays or the flashback, and other people, including myself, never lost them.

Really surprised no word on the patch. I know we only had an ETA (emphasis on the ESTIMATED portion), but thought this week would be it.....

Thats cool, we've discovered that if you don't X through the HR flashback, you get post game high lites. We'd all rather have you test this thing and make sure only the intended results occur. Take your time.

Okay, so I have not downloaded any updates at all and it's still not safe to right? Will there be an official announcement when it's safe to update?

Do you use fast play or normal play?

So since it's taking ab little extra time does that mean your trying to get the roster control glitch fixed? That would be too cool.

That would be real cool, but I sure don't expect it.

Nope.

I haven't downloaded any of the patches, and don't have any replays. Of course, I'm just playing RTTS, and still in AA, so not sure if I'm supposed to have post game replays.

I would trade my replays entirely to get this fixed. What's driving me crazy besides the lineups getting screwed up is that even with the roster control on it still limits what you can do as far as ML options for players. I wanted to send Wang to AAA in my Yankees season because he's hurt in real life and I can't manually put him on the DL (like SCEA does with their roster updates I figured I'd just send him down to make room for Phil Hughes). However, when I did this I got a message that Wang was claimed off waivers by the Nationals...WTF!?!? I just want the ability to do whatever I want with the rosters without being overridden by the CPU logic nonsense (leave it in as an option for those that enjoy this type of thing).

If you are just starting, I believe the patch is safe.

I got the games this week and started fresh - no problems for me.

I guess since this thread is for impressions as well, I will go ahead and give mine here instead of cluttering up the forums with another thread since I just got the game.

WOW. This is without a doubt the best sports game I've ever played. Are there issues? Sure. But this game completely kicks MVP to the curb. I had a 10 pitch at bat on offense (led to a walk) and gave up one pitching (led to a homer). Beat the Cubs 8-6. It was a bit of a homer-happy game, but I was on Veteran with no slider adjustments. So many little things done right, it really immerses you in the experience like never before. I'm pumped to get my franchise started.

Hopefully this injects a healthy dose of positivity in what has been (deservedly so) a pretty gloomy thread.

For what it's worth, I'm playing a Cards franchise that I started on or very near to release date with a very early SCEA roster release. (Yes it has the 'stats glitch').

I'm 83 games into my season as of tonight and I haven't had any problems (touch wood). I would guess that I have played about 6 or 8 games since the patch dropped, and simmed about 8 or 10.

If it ends up crapping out on me, then so be it...I'll just start over. I love the game so it's not really a big deal to me.
