NCAA Football 10 News Post

We are now less than one month away from the release of Electronic Arts’ NCAA Football 10. If you are one of the many fans of the series, you probably already know about the enhancements and additions to this year’s game. That being said, the TeamBuilder option looks nothing short of awesome and will surely suck away many hours of my life. There are times, though, when playing with real, established teams is called for. After all, if somebody is talking smack about your alma mater, you have to be able to let your play on the field do the talking. With that in mind, I thought I would take a look at 10 teams gamers should watch out for in NCAA Football 10.

uh, they were ranked #3 in the nation in 2005, buddy. that's four years - not too long a time.

A CENTRAL MICHIGAN, repeat CENTRAL MICHIGAN fan talking down to the University of MIAMI(FL) is absolutely hilarious.. You couldn't make this stuff up

Not that Miami is a "has been" but if they were as you imply that is still infinitely better than a "never was" like Central Michigan

No such thing as a mid-major in football, that is only for basketball. In football it's BCS or non-BCS, who edited this thing, some non football fan?

The fact that he says his favorite player was Pat White (CHEESE) and he will love using Prior (New Cheese!) makes this article worthless...

Just the fact that I'm a Canes fan and am saying this makes me cringe.

Tennessee w/Bryce Brown isn't on the list? Just Bryce Brown makes them one of the most dangerous.

How is it cheese? These guys ran all over people in real life and should do so in the game. Same with Tebow. If I'm playing with Tebow I'm not going be throwing the ball 50 times a game or giving Demps 30 carries.

What?!?! NO BAYLOR?!?!?!?

You don't rush for 1000 yards as a QB by only running when you have to..

Also Pat White had the second most carries on the team all four years he was there, the last two years he was just barely below having the most on the team so you are completely off base again..

the team that i would like to play with is ohio state just because pryor is great at running and throwing. my second is florida because they have all the talent and i like using Tebow and Spikes.

They do run plays for him to run in real life. But if you play against him in the game, watch how people use him. He'll run on almost every play. It's ridiculous.

Runs when he has to? The offense he ran at WVU called running plays for him. The Spread Option gives carries to the QB in a very legitimate way. There's a difference between rolling out and throwing a bomb every play and realistically using a QB with wheels.

I also heavily argue your point about not letting your QB get most of the carries on the team. Look at Tebow's numbers compared to the running backs on his team and get back to me.

I would also include Michigan State. They finished 9-4 last year and challenged a solid Georgia squad in the bowl...

I think this is the year ND gets its 9 to 10 wins. I hate to use the word "should" but they should have won 10 games last year with the blown losses to Pitt and UNC and the Syracuse debacle.

ND's schedule favors them a tad this year. However, I have always had fun using ND.

Other teams I think belong in this category would include Northwestern, Duke and Cincinnati (who quietly won the Big East).

I think Baylor should be on there.

Need to watch out for the Juice(92)-Benn(97) connection in Champaign, along with the numerous other offensive weapons and solid OL. But you should be able to score at will against the porous D.

Any list that says Notre Dame has any redeeming qualities is a flawed list.
