Before the patch, this was possible. I believe it was happening on accident though. The only real way to do this now is set the setting of "instant trades" to off. That way when a trade is offered between the two teams there is a window of 3 days where they mull over the trade. If you can catch it before the trade goes through, then you can in a sense accept/decline the trade.

My plan most likely will be this and if I miss some trades, I can always go back and reverse the trade with the 30 team control.

I turned "instant trades" to off but I still dont understand how I'm supposed to control trades. I tried simming part of a 30 team controlled franchise with both trades to manual and auto and I still was not able to get it to work. When instant trades are off should I have trades set to manual or auto? Sorry If I'm just stupid and not getting this but Im just trying to get the most realistic gaming.

on = injuries are simulated.

manual = the user can injure any player at ay time

The point is that some people like to play a season along with what happens in real life, keeping rosters the way they really are, etc. Now those people have the ability to "injure" players and make them unavailable to use if they get hurt in the real thing.

How often are you guys "upgrading/reparing" the wear and tear on your field? Is there a recomendation on which upgrade(s) and how often?

After reading some tips on how I could hit using the old MVP method and How Classic pitching actually works (Thanks Nem, Pro and others) I have to eat my words about this game. This game is the dookie (can't say the S word, but that means good).

I had no idea about the stat overlays in ********* mode because I was just playing exhibition games. But once I started my dummy ********* to get the feel of the game right for me I was just amazed at the stats that were just popping up. I just love the feel of the game (hard to explain)

The other girl might be fun in bed and you can call at any**** of the night for a good ****, but this is the one that you take home to momma.

With the OPTION of analog play next year(

) this will be one of 2 sports games that I will buy next year.

Finally picked up the game on Friday and played seven games from Friday at 5pm until going to bed around 3am. So yeah, I liked it.

Kinda disappointed there aren't more bloopers/choppers, I thought that was supposed to be added this year. Game seems largely the same from 09 but that's not a bad thing. Maybe I'll notice more differences as time goes on.

The game feels very choppy in broadcast cam.

Someone needed to alert the tech responsible for the coding of the brightness... and detail off white jerseys.

If you play say with batting practice jerseys then your ok cuz theyre mostly solid colors.

Not yet, the dev team is coming off of their well-earned vacation. I think the chance of another patch is high, as some of the SCEA guys have been on here compiling our questions and complaints.

Once the Sounds of the Show is fixed and i can get all my songs in there this game will be perfect to me,I havent really experienced any other gltiches so hopefully a patch will come soon.

Anyone have an issue with 2 player offline exhibition mode where one of the teams fielders don't get the fielding markers of where the ball is going to land? They're set to on and I even switched them off and switched them back but they still don't work. What's the deal?

I'm really enjoying it. Got the game Thursday. Figured out all the assorted menus and various details. Then started my franchise yesterday morning. Already have played six games. My only cheese is that I put my Son in the lineup, yeap 2nd basemen for the Cubbies. He got a HR on his first at bat! His power ratings are very low btw. Contact hitter, good speed and a great defenseman.

Messed around with custom sounds between games too. Holy freaking Cow! I set the Reds HR music to a air raid siren with zombie nation playing along. I was enjoying the other team get homers!
