Just called my gamestop here in moosic, PA and the guy said june 1st, i was like well on the internet they are saying that gamestops are selling in tomorrow, and he said I didn't get that, I was like ok. Gonna try again tomorrow and call walmart at midnight ET.

I don't have it preordered because I knew beyond a reasonable doubt that I could walk in on release day and grab it. However after hearing the numbers it's entirely possible there's only like 100 copies in toronto! well,..maybe more than that but still. If each store only has a couple of copies I may have to drive around.
another thing about Canadian EBgames is that we're often screwed out of things like this.

If the Best Buy thing is true, I'll be browsing around Stockton tomorrow when I'm traveling to see if that's the case. For the person that was asking why I wouldn't keep by Gamestop copy, it's because I don't really support them (a slight exception is for some used games and accessories that aren't available elsewhere). Plus, a Reward Zone account holds much more loyalty for the customer than does an Edge Card.

Haha what a tradgedy for me. I called gamestop and they said they hadnt even HEARD of it. She said that she had heard of FACEbreaker but not BACKbreaker lol shame.....

Gamefly has edited it's release date, as well. Should ship out tomorrow.
I'm willing to pay the $50 for this game just for the sake of supporting something other than Madden. The fact that I like the demo is just a bonus.

It's quite comical to hear them ramble on for 5 min and have zero idea what they are talking about.
Unfortunately, the idiots at Walmart's night crew wouldn't even give me the time of day. I waited back there for 30 minutes in the electronics area, having them paged twice. They all just kept pushing their brooms and stocking shelves, rather than help one of the five customers in the store. They probably didn't even have it in the back room anyway, but it would have been nice to know for sure. I guess I'll just pick it up tomorrow if I can find it somewhere.

They are doing this because of the Negative reviews about AI coming in...seriously.....
they see the early birds who have the game and have posted about the non-existent AI...so if you like playing against the comp....beware!..

This isn't the first game they've done this with. They did the same thing with Modern Warfare 2. The owner of my local Play N Trade gets pissed at our two Gamestops because they're always doing this to her and it costs her preorders.
Its got nothing to do with the AI issues, its more about capitalizing on sales early.
