NBA 2K11 patch v1.2 is available for the PS3 and 360. Please post your impressions here.

Just in case you missed them last night, here are the patch details.

Just deleted EVERYTHING on my ps3 2k11 related...re-downloaded patch, set my settings up for a game etc..

Started a game of Bos @ LAL, and at around 9min left in the 1st qtr the Commentary went completely out again(only hearing crowd noise)

I wait for a dead ball, try to save and quit(done this before and came back and commemtary worked fine) and ps3 locks up!

I'm so pissed where I'm gonna put this game away on the shelf until there's a patch to fix this garbage. I want to play so bad, but the more times this happens in my association the less likely I'm going to want this game anymore. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEEE FIX THIS 2K!!

And I dont know why no one else is experiencing this! I'm on ps3....the fewq that have said deleting the game data cured it(obviously it didn't) for them. I can't be the ONLY one having this problem! Next game I'll turn commentary off to start the game and see if I can finish it.

If ur wondering why I try to save and quit..it's cuz when the commentary does that, when uit gets to halftime or end of qtrs the game hangs up. It's trying to commentate(word?) and run videos of the halftime report and NBA Today stuff all at the same time. The game hangs up where all I get is a zoomed in view of some player headed to the locker room or on his way back out and it just stays there until I sim to end of game or quit(and from there it locks up again)

u guys sure this patch applies to your ongoing association as well?

Just played a match and didn't really notice any difference tbh...

Into the 32nd game of my Association I made the error of saving the game to continue play at a later time. I took care not to save in a timeout situation.

When I came back, every time the game in progress would freeze in a timeout.

Happily I downloaded the patch, as it was supposed to solve the issue.

I did. Kind of.

Now the timeouts are fine, but during the fourth quarter the game froze during one of Deron Williams' free throws. Now I still have an Association that is really hard to play for me. Urrrggg.

So a next patch most definitely is in order (I can live with all the game-related stuff of commentary going away - which I never noticed, but freezes are really frustrating).

So u are experiencing the commentary going out too? Does thr game hang up on u after a qtr ends? IMO the loss of commentary is what's causing the hang ups and then freezes. I've had long hang ups b4, but after the patch its worse and only occurs when commentary goes out.

Been playin a alot of Myplayer and a few things I notice are, (these things are strictly from my game and in no way reflect my opinion of the actual NBA or any likeness)
1. The wizards are terrible
2. Gilbert Arenas would miss the grand canyon if given the opportunity.
3. My team hardly ever scores when I'm on the floor, but make specatular comebacks when I'm benched.
4. I can't score AT ALL in the paint. That could help explain #3
5. I really should practice my post moves.
6. 0-7= Coach fired. That one was funny.

I shoot with the stick, and to me it's great. 8-10 with Dirk through the 1st Half. I think it is that people are hard headed and don't want to put the energy into practicing.

Also happy that the halftime show seems to be fixed, and the backboard shots fix is a good addition as well.

Everyone said that after the patch you couldn't blame turnovers from passing on the computer throwing a bad pass, but since the patch I've had way more turnovers, and there have just been more in general. Atleast twice a game, the CPU will just sail an inbound pass. Or I'll be standing next to a guy, then throw the ball 15 feet too high and its a turnover. I understand these things happen, but not to the extent that I'm seeing.

Are you using sliders? Because Pass Accuracy @ 49 or below (especially under 42) seems to make this happen more than 50+.

I'm still tinkering with the CPU's pass accuracy. Like you said, 42 and below and they throw away too many easy passes. 43 and up seems to barely have an effect. Since there is a lack of CPU turnovers anyway I've left it at 42 and just deal with the "sailed inbounds passes" to even things out.

2k.... wow

the patch killed on ball defense.. its no way to lock anybody down.. before the patch defense was a joy.. Crabs just go right to the basket now..

oh and 2k your not slick.. yall notice how they changed the blocks.. To feed the people who was crying about blocks, they slowed them down AND they shrunk the block animations.. Watch how you try to block with a big man, its REAL slow and they shrink em to be almost the same size of the player taking the shot..

Thanks for fixing the audio on created players and teams 2k.. The commentary is great.. SMH!!!!!!

Can you clarify? Are you saying they didn't touch the created team and created player announcing issues?

Ronnie just twitted that the online drops was not a result of the patch but an issue with the roster update.

Tried myplayer for the first time since the draft combine download last year.

About 3 minutes in i realized im too much of a control freak to ever play this and shut it off.

I was seeing plays i could make if i could switch defenders lol, it was hilarious and frustrating at the same time

Man FT's are still doing my head in. My Bulls are 58% after 5 games in my association. Nearly a full 20% behind every other team in the league. I even tried switching to Shot Stick with the difficulty at 0 and I still had players bricking them like crazy even with perfect timing. Just shot 47% against the Celtics. Is this just me? I feel like I'm going nuts...I mean I just had Derek Rose shoot 1 from 7...

i usually shoot 80+ percent with ease from the charity line. players with a slow release are the only time i have trouble with it. that's with stock 50 difficulty, btw.
