The Madden NFL 12 demo is available now. Please play a few games and post your impressions here. For now, just search under "M" in the demos section or games section. It weights in at 1.53 GB.
If you like to play online offense looks way to easy. Some good things I saw but I hate playing 35-42 games all day long and no defense will kill it for me.
It's not a glitch, it's a design decision. There's a difference. Regardless, you've posted this like 10 times in this thread.
It's a glitch in thinking then. Horrendous design decision and that is actually worse than it being a in game glitch because they MEANT to do it. Not good. We need to vote with our wallets on this one and maybe they will fix the error in their "design".

Interesting you say that, what difficulty are you playing on? All my games have been in the single digits to low teens.
First impression, really liked the demo, gameplay was fluid, game feels great on offence and on defence, zone defense is much better.
Some other things that i liked was that I was able to block a PAT and i saw a pass interference call on the CPU.
Also Jay Cutler was scrambling a lot, really good to see QB Scrambling

LOL ok, You can either just button through it like every other piece of presentation in the game, or you could just not buy it. Vote with your own wallet.
Didn't see this anywhere in the thread (but I also didn't read all 47 pages), but is anyone else having trouble with the kick meter? When I try to hit A the 2nd time (for accuracy) it doesn't respond. It keeps causing me to miss extra points and my kickoffs keep ending up out of bounds.

It's a little laggy. You gotta press it a little bit before you really would in order to get it.
Another cool thing: I was up 13-7 with less than 2 minutes to go with the packers and Cutler threw a 20 yard completion and a stat overlay popped up that said "Jay Cutler has led 11 4th quarter comebacks this year" I was impressed.
EDIT: career, not year lol
I know All-Madden is a crazy difficulty level, but the Packers O-Line struggled more then the Bear's O-Line in all of my games. Cutler was more efficient is scrambling then Rogers was too. Most of the TDs were to wide open receivers, the TD the Bears scored in Gm 1 was the only one in tight coverage. Tipped passes still seem to never be catch able for the defense, the ball hit 2-3 hands after the tip and none of them came up with ball. On the other hand, the defense tipped the ball, and the receiver caught it no problem (while on the run). There's still a huge amount of presentation lacking with injuries, I noticed the carry off scene if the player was unable to walk off the field, but in general no assistance or anyone coming over to check on them makes it disturbing. Also the Bears didn't take a field goal that was 50+ yards when the clock was expiring, it was in the 2nd quarter and they were in a punt formation, and down 21-0 in Gm1. Even if they missed no time would of been left for the Packers to do anything if they actually attempted the kick with 1sec left. Instant Replays lack sound (idk if that's just for demo), no commentary, and replays don't finish the whole play. (if it's a long one)
