There are over well over 400+ transactions and player rating adjustments that went into this roster update.
The biggest movers after top notch performances in Week 1 are LB Craig Robertson (CLE) with a 4 point boost this week (now 65 overall), WR Kevin Ogletree (DAL) going +7 to 74 overall, OL J’Marcus Webb (CHI) gets a 4 point boost to 73 overall, and DL Henry Melton (CHI) going up 3 points as well to a 83 overall.
Some of the biggest movers on the negative side are TE Lance Kendricks (from 74 to 72 overall), OL Doug Legursky (from 75 to 72 overall), OL Leroy Harris (from 86 to 84 overall), and Titans DB Michael Griffin (from 89 to 87 overall).
What's the point of 53-man rosters in CCM? Will they just add generic rookies for you to cut during preseason, or will cut days just be removed since the roster is already at 53?
I think it's more of an acknowledgement that he was not correctly rated before. 67 is pretty low, and he's simply a better player than that.

That is even worse. So now we can't protect our starters from injury in the preseason. I guess D. Ware will have to play special teams the whole game.
I'm disappointing that we get older rosters while the new is available to other modes (at least give us the option), but I was at least hoping we could go and sign some low level guys for preseason. Unreal. It's just one idiotic thing after another.

What do you expect them to do, add some random generated players to your team?
You can sign whoever you like... even with the 75+ man rosters, you could cut it down to 53 as soon as you want... you don't have to cut only the amount of players it suggests after each week of preseason.
I am kinda glad the 53 man CCM roster is going to be a week behind. I am not really a fan of some of these big ratings changes after just one week of football. Ridiculous.

I agree. I always think it's stupid that EA updates after every week. It should be quarterly .

If you want cut days sign free agents before you start the first week of preseason. You dont need to cpu to create a bunch of bum UDFA to fill your roster. you can do it yourself. dig into the free agent pool and start signing.
If you have more than 53 players you will be able to make cuts.
The point of the 53 man rosters is that some people want their team to start out in their CCM the way they are in real life. This way you could just use the preseason to get guys exp that you know made the cut in real life.

I think you missed my point as you are saying the opposite (I think). I was saying with no cut down days, I'd assume that 53 is your max roster size (maybe bad assumption). If that is the case you can't sign random guys. As for what I would have them do? I'd have them give us the option of using any roster we want or at least allow us to sign up to 75 guys for preseason wk 1 and then still have cut down days. Better yet, give us updated 75 man rosters to start our season with. Before you say I can't have it both ways... I know, I know. Sounds like we can't have it either way. That sux.
*EDIT* OK, so it looks like my assumption of no more cut down days = a 53 player cap is wrong. If so, I'm good.

I have not seen EA say anywhere that you could not have more than 53 players signed in preseason. Unless I missed something and I been on here every day multiple times a day so I doubt I missed anything.
I really hate how sports has become filled with nerds....... Like what ever happened to playing the games?
Hate to break it to ya but if you're reading forums for video games, you're a nerd too. Take all the time you need to work through it, we're here for ya.
I'm guessing the CCM roster tomorrow is the ONLY CCM roster we get. You can delete your save and use the default 75 man roster, or you can download the opening Week 1 roster.
The fact that they took 6 extra days to get it out leaves me to believe that there's something going on within these rosters and they had to test them out extensively before shipping them out. They originally said "early in the week" and now we are getting them tomorrow. My guess was that they were aiming at Tuesday but didn't finish testing them in time and just pushed it back waited a day or two longer to send them out with the Week 2 Play Now set.

I agree. I don't get why people get so caught up on ratings. It is to the point where fans will want any player that has a good week to get a boost in ratings. Redskins fan probably think Alfred Morris should be a top 10 back in the league.
Anyone surprised about anything? I thought Ogletree was pretty low at 67 so I sent in that 7 point increase, his release was horrendously low (in 50's) when in real life he's excellent at beating press coverage. I requested it be boosted to 79 which is fine for now, however, I think Ogletree may be the best WR off the line at getting out of a jam.
My surprises:
- Brandon Weeden only dropping a point
- Tracy Porter jumping up and astounding three points, it's amazing what an interception in crunch time will do for you
- Andrew Luck not losing a point. He looked like a rookie, and this is the guy that everyone said was more prepped for the NFL than Peyton. I know, I know it's only Week 2, but still. The overthrows to Wayne really had me leaning towards decrease.
your kidding me, ogletree the best wr beating the press hahahaha......hes had one good game against a terrible giants secondary, because of injuries, and you say he is the best at beating the press BAHAHAHAHa
Are you seeing injuries stick after turning it back on? The reason I ask is that I turned it off and back on and now I only have in game injuries. After the game everyone is healed. Even very serious injuries.
