I completely forgot. Great inclusion. Manny when he was somewhat tame. Also, 05 Astros (Biggio,Bagwell, Berkman, Oswalt, Pettitte, Clemons) would be great.

Man I just wish that some year some developer would make an all classic team game. 2k made that football game so why not a baseball game like that some time. You'd think some of those oldtimers who weren't paid much back in the day would grab any cash they could to give their rights.

Good teams. Throw in the '93 Blue Jays to match up against them.

I was thinking, with 42 coming out, maybe we throw in a matchup like this.

'51 Giants (Thomson, Mays, Irvin, Maglie, Stanky, Mueller)
'51 Dodgers (Robinson, Snider, Campanella[injured], Newcombe, Reese)

We get Ebbets Field and the Polo Grounds to play the entire 3 game series.

Also, how about '61 Yankees (Mantle, Maris, Ford, Berra, Howard), '61 Tigers (Kaline, Lary) and maybe throw in the '66 Orioles (Robinson, Robinson), and maybe the '60 Pirates (Mazeroski, Clemente, Groat, Hoak, Burgess),

We get the original Yankee Stadium, Tiger Stadium, and Memorial Stadium. So, with that, we are looking at a list like:

'51 Dodgers (Robinson, Snider, Campanella, Newcombe, Reese)
'51 Giants (Thomson, Mays, Irvin, Maglie, Stanky, Mueller)
'60 Pirates (Mazeroski, Clemente, Groat, Hoak, Burgess)
'61 Yankees (Mantle, Maris, Ford, Berra, Howard)
'61 Tigers (Kaline, Lary)
'66 Orioles (Robinson, Robinson)
'80 Phillies (Schmidt, Bowa, Rose, Matthews, Maddox, Carlton, McGraw
'93 Phillies (Daulton, Dykstra, Schilling)
'93 Blue Jays (Carter, Henderson, Alomar, Molitor, Morris)
'94 Expos (Pedro, Moises, Grissom)
'95 Indians (Thome, Manny, Belle, Martinez)
'95 Mariners (Griffey, Edgar, Buhner, Randy)
'95 Braves (Glavine, Smoltz, Maddux, Chipper, Justice)
'98 Yankees (Jeter, Bernie, Tino, Pettite, Mo all in their prime)
'99 Braves (Andruw, Chipper, Javy, Glavine, Smoltz, Maddux)
'00 Mets (Piazza, Leiter, Hampton)
'01 Yankees (Last year of the old guard)
'01 Diamondbacks (Schilling, Johnson, Gonzalez)
'02 Athletics (Hatteberg, Hudson, Zito, Mulder, Dye, Tejada, Ellis)
'03 Yankees (Jeter, Pettitte, Clemons, Mo, Posada, Bernie, Boone)
'04 Red Sox (86 years, Damon w/ beard, Manny, Ortiz, Pedro)
'05 White Sox (90 years, Konerko, Dye, Buehrle)
'06 Mets (Delgado, Pedro, Glavine, Wagner)
'06 Cardinals (Edmonds, Pujols, Carpenter, Eckstein)

And with those teams, you get the following stadiums:

Ebbets Field
Polo Grounds
Forbes Field
Original Yankee Stadium
Tiger Stadium
Memorial Stadium
Veteran's Stadium
Olympic Stadium
Kingdome
Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium
Old Yankee Stadium
Shea Stadium

+Previous stadiums used in 2k, including:
Griffith Stadium
Shibe Park
Sportsman's Park
Crosley Field
Cleveland Municipal Stadium

If we can get at least a chunk of that, we got a very good game

How could you mention the 61' Tigers and not mention Rocky Colavtio, Norm Cash, and Jim Bunning?

Let's add the '01 Mariners (116 Win Season, 8 All-Stars, All-Star Game IN Seattle. Featured Players: Rookie Ichiro, Boone, Cameron, Moyer, Older Versions of Edgar and Buhner.)

Didn't see these teams so I would like to see the following added:

1982 Atlanta Braves
1984 Chicago Cubs
1984 San Diego Padres

Add Fulton County Stadium as well.

If they fix the bugs in MLB Today and clean up some of the animation, it will be a great game. I play both baseball games and both are great in their own way.

They release a screenshot to grab your attention but they cant even get that right. No fans on the Green Monster...passing on this game this year, itll be the same stuff as last year

I've never seen a feature list with no new features, that was really odd. sure, features are mostly hype to sell the new product, but weren't there some improvements made to this game that could have been put in there somewhere?

makes me think this was like a skeleton 2k crew working on getting a last mlb title out before next gen...

Hey guys, lets take the fantasy teams to another thread so we can stay on-topic here. Thanks.

Will they have the WBC? Im buying the show and they don't have it if 2k doesn't have it looks like ill be getting the show and pro yakyuu spirits.

Im not trying to trash 2K, and ive only played the demo of '12 and '09 on PS2. I just worded it wrong. I like how the pitching system is, and 2K Share A LOT. But when i compare 2K NBA to 2K MLB (even though they are two different sports and games), i just feel like 2K MLB has much more potential. The online is better on 2K too, but they have potential to do better than what they are. EDIT: Oh, AND ive had the past 2 2K MLB games with '08 for the Wii. Im not siding with The Show, because ive never played the current versions of it. Im just saying that MLB 2K isnt as good as it should be, but, maybe things change before release...

My post got deleted? That's BS. I'm like the biggest 2k baseball honk here, but let's face it, that feature list is empty.

Whatevs...

I really enjoy the MLB Today feature and the MLB Today season could be fantastic with a few kinks worked out. I like to be able to play a game that my Reds are playing that day with the same starting pitchers that are pitching in real life. The commentary and presentation on all 2k sports games have been outstanding.

I thinkif you are a real 2k sports fan, you'd jus accept the game on how it is & just play the damn game. I made top 50 in the world in 2k12 & I can give a damn less if they didn't add any new features because the features they have right now are fun anyways & y'all act like y'all finish all features thy have within a whole one year calendar! In my opinion this game is way better than the show, the show is so ******** & slow & too realistic to the point where it gets frustrating. They shouldn't make games 100% realistic because alot of the times it feels like the player is a rock. 2k sports FTW, I per ordered it & traded in 3 games for store credit in GameStop which will take out a good amount in those 60 bucks so u guys should do the same!

Yikes.

I hate playing games that are too realistic.
