I really can't stand the moves that cause the defender to fall flat on his face. Some of the spins look like hyper-speed moves and most of the backs look like hunch-backs.

I will be the first to say this, as inflated as the success of these moves appear, it does look fun and entertaining. The defense is clownish nonetheless and I wonder, comically, what the enviornment will be like on the highest difficulty.
Why do the defenders react so loosely? There is almost no reading just immediate knee jerk reactions. I can only hope this is the result of a Pro difficulty challenge.

Well, that looked a million times better than the trailer. As long as the moves aren't too effective I think it will be a good feature.

The defence looks BAD!!!The offence is way over powered as it is in M13!!!I dont know man; Im not feeling M25 this year coming from a defensive point of view.
Wow. I just don't see how you can release this video and not realize the running animations are bad. Who runs like that? Or carries the ball like that?

the moves look nice a little herky jerky, but upgraded anyways. what stood out to me as a NON-casual madden gamer is unfortunately the hunchback running. is it me or did they look even more hunched over when running in this video? ahh oh well. EA should pay for the rights to the "real" hunchback of Notre Dame and offer him as a DLC Ultimate teamer...lol j/k man I hope this game is good..but I have my doubts, again
I just hope every RB isn't as evasive as Barry Sanders but then again SMH
I am a big fan of the music in this trailer, I hope it is indicative of the in-game score.
As for Run Free, I'm not a huge fan of the excessive hop jukes. I can only assume that the RBs are juiced in this trailer to showcase the new controls, however, and I can appreciate having more tackle evasion options at my disposal during gameplay.
I look forward to learning more about the game.

Highlight of this video to me is the stiff arms, really like that Doug Martin one. I'm not going crazy or anything over this, but this is much better than the first trailer.
Looks like they fixed the Doug Martin model since that one screenshot, hope they did the same with Russell Wilson.

Sigh... Wake me up when next-gen gets here. Running backs DO NOT run like this. This looks like NFL Blitz with how arcadey these animations are.

Some of it looks a little more visceral than before (as it should be finally) but why dont the devs fix the running animations? Every player is frozen into a leaned over hunch back position like they're in a never ending state of acceleration. They never stand all the way up and sprint, they stay hunched over at top speed. Its really not a good look and its very noticeable.

I'm seeing too many big plays. Almost every run shown in the video is a big, highlight play.

running mechanics still look awkward, but i'm loving the stiff arms, and it does now appear that you have free ability to run, which is what i've wanted for years.
i think i will pleasantly enjoy this feature as long as they do the stamina bar right, so that a running back can't do 30 spin moves and 5 stiff arms on one play.
THEN AGAIN, ....i just recall the marshawn lynch beast mode play and recall that it's possible, just not probable.

More on topic, game speed seemed really quick to me. Might just be because I'm used to NCAA at this point. Definitely better than the first trailer they showed, but still not quite there yet like others have said.

Looks way too loose in the video for my liking, but I am sure that was just to show off the mechanic. I'm sure it will be able to be tuned to a tighter level in the final build. I actually think it will be a good feature.
