I guess you can edit shot animations to be quick/normal/late timing... ????
Offline, obviously you can edit all players.

Yeah, I thought that when he said that "it works the same", he was referring to that, for online and offline, on the court (gameplay wise), you still have to time the release with the animation, the timing varies as shot animations may be slow, normal or fast. The animations all have their cons and pros.
And for offline, you can choose a slow, normal or fast animation ... as JW said, I also assume you can also choose for your my player online.
P.S:
Reaching a little bit, am wishfull that what he ment was that we might be able to use custom rosters for some online modes and therefore, it works the same.
