sorry if I come off paranoid, but Microsoft tried to pass off an AMA (ask me anything) with IGN and readers as legit...when it was obvious it wasn't.

anyway, StL_RamZ is probably more right.
Lol yeah those q&a ign questions on Xbox one was just awful. The interviewer asked like ten questions about gamer tags and avatars.

No.

It's against our TOS and should have been dropped awhile ago.

People are actually trying to help out.

Now, lets drop it.

And while we're at it. Lets stop debating the moot point of tattoos all together. It's been discussed ad nauseam over the years here and nothing is changing.

Then they listened to fans that disliked the arcade ping pong nature of FIFA 13 and added a level of realism I honestly didnt think EA was capable of. The reason behind all this, the little guy Konami kept putting out a gameplay first focused game and despite the fancy licenses Konami's game was constantly a thorn in EA's side so they worked to make their game better.

The issue with Madden is that they will try something and then people complain about it not being fully executed and instead of taking their lumps and working on it for the next year they usually end up cutting it and starting over with something else. It really seems like when left to their own evaluations they can not for the life of them determine what fans want. Look no further than the 40% drop in year over sales that Madden experienced. And that is with no other NFL game out there.
fair enough, lets just narrow it down to tiburon then

Look at it from EA business model. EA makes the perfect football game that everyone has been dreaming of for 15 years. Then the next year they have the same perfect football game again with new rosters.

How long will it take people to start saying "Oh this is the same "perfect" football game again with a roster update."

I want sim and realism as much as anyone and EA could make a better product if they chose to. Unfortunately they come out with this every year so why make it perfect. How can you top perfection next year?

The only answer I see is make the game as great as possible and release the next version at least 3 years later.

It's kind of sad that my very first introduction to an EA sports game was Lakers vs Celtics. I cant even remember how old I was at the time my father bought me that game (I'm 34 now). I supported every EA sports basketball game from Lak vs Celts through NBA live 2003 (whatever freestyle was introduced) I was fortunate enough to play ever EA football game from John Madden footbal through Madden 04. since then the only EA game i bought was the Fight Night Series. EA was sort of responsible for me being a gamer till this day (although my free time to playi is dwindling each day). Now, I have fully lost faith in them, maybe i look for realism/simulation more than the gimmicks. All i know is that as the game became more advance the fun factor has taken a step backwards. I dont understand why they continue to promise so much but deliver on less than half of those promises. Where is the NBA Live 2014 Trailers? Where is the next gen gameplay. I wonder do they not care for there original fans, the ones from the late 80's early 90's, we are the ones with the cash to support you. It seems that they didnt grow with theire audience. I understand you have to reinvent yourself and cant remain stagnant but EA both current/next gen should be far ahead of the competition with all the industry experience they have, and they now are clearly not.

It comes down to an evaluation of priority. Everything can't be done in a year, so when deciding a to add it will take away from progression in another area. If you think it is the most important wish item for player accessories, and everyone agrees, I will pass your feedback to Jean.

I think vast majority of OS community agrees that the most needed accessories that are missing from madden are mouthpieces and one arm sleeves (like RG3 has).

Feedback that you guys "don't trust" the Q&A because all questions aren't asked .

I think this means the default camera in Next-gen Madden NFL 25 is the default camera for Madden NFL 13 but zoomed in more.
It means the camera is back to the default that was in madden 13 but once you cross the LOS the camera zooms in on the player a little bit.

I think the priority for most people are new animations and better executed ones.

Not sure who's responsibility that is, but I think some organic running animations and tonnes of signature animations on top of base animations (catch, tackle, etc.) having weight and being grounded in physics is what we need to see in next gen madden.

I'd also hope that with regards to accessories it's not limited to shooting sleeves and mouth guards alone, because multi colour cleats, new cleats such as Cam Newton, Tom Brady, Andre Johnson etc. need to be in there as well as new sleeve types.

There is a fantastic thread called 'next gen accessories wants' which actually provides visual support to requests so the effect of the accessories for immersion are easier understood, and that clarity of request is easier understood.

I can't provide a link to the thread on my phone, but it is very easy to find and understand the priorities of requests there, with regards to accessories specifically.

We were actually thinking of doing that but that's great feedback, I appreciate it.

Thanks for clarifying infamous. I've seen the thread and it is great, as a fan of football I want all of those things.

No problem, hope we can see them in next gen madden!
How likely is it to see it this year and how many of those things have already been included?

We have some more information coming out over the course of the next 4 weeks. We will have some more Q&A with dev to answer as many questions everyone may have.

Thank you for the response, it is greatly appreciated. I think the majority of people here value feedback directly from EA, I hope you guys continue to visit and answer more questions in the future.

Thank you for the feedbook Emmdot, it's appreciated.

It just feels that OS has been somehow slighted this year with hardly any GCers checking in or reps from EA.

Not sure if that's because of past reputation of high signal noises from here, etc.....

Some people don't have a chance to check on Twitter on a daily basis or wherever the new next info is coming from.

Not a reflection on you personally Emmdot, but your company.

Let me ask you this.

What does your company put at a high priority?

I know this site and other sites have put penalties and animations high on the priority list working correctly for several years and they still aren't working.

So, that leads me to believe that the communities priorities are not the priorities of the company.

Frankly, that is probably why the signal noise appears to be higher over here. There's is a definite disconnect.

I've been one of the staunchest defenders of Madden because I've been playing this game since some of the posters were in diapers and before; however, Madden is starting to lose me because I see areas of the game that continually to be ignored over a console generation, and if they aren't continually ignored, they are putting new ideas in and new ideas out in less than two years.

There needs to be better continuity in leadership and employees and strive to make this the best NFL football game ever or how are they going to keep long time consumers such as myself.

If I had to make a decision today to purchase NG Madden, I would skip out on it based on what I've seen so far.

Thanks for listening, back to my meds. LT, help.

Roadman - Community is definitely a priority at EA. Just remember that OS isn't the only community. The majority of Game Changers have websites of their own.

I try to visit as often as possible, but I think the past couple of days show why some members decide to stay away from the forum.

Kevin, and that's what I alluded to in my post above by signal strength. One can easily put the louder one's on ignore, don't you agree?

I guess, my point is, why allow a few "louder" posters vs the good constructive posters ruin the experience.

The ones who are louder and boisterous, report them, is my suggestion.

Kevin, I didn't mean you personally as I've noticed you've been around showing screenshots over the past few months.

I guess my point, then, would be, why bypass OS? Aren't GCer's missing out representing the whole community?

To me, that's just thinking that they are representing only the ideas at their own website which is different than OS's.
