NBA 2K14: Patch #4 Available Now For Xbox One, PS4. Post your Impressions

2K Sports released patch number four for NBA 2K14 this afternoon for Xbox One users. No timetable on when PS4 users will get the patch, but 2K says it is coming 'soon'.

Here are the notes:

Addressed an issue where some users were unable to load/play any previously saved files.
Addressed an issue where some users were unable to properly negotiate contracts in MyGM.
Users are now able to advance to the next round of the playoffs when playing the series deciding game in MyGM.
Addressed an issue with Friend invites that was preventing some users from entering into Head-to-Head and Team-Up matchmaking.
Corrected a case where the game would exit out after the first change of possession during the Rising Stars challenge in MyCAREER mode.
Improved performance in The Park by fixing a number of hitches that would occur during gameplay.
Fixed an issue where the title would be unresponsive when booted without being signed into a profile.
Fixed an issue where the game would occasionally exit out shortly after boot when there was a large number of content update notifications queued up.
Corrected an issue where thumbnails in the MyPLAYER Store and Dressing Room would fail to appear in some cases.

NOTE: All patch fixes are intended to work in your existing game mode saves (MyCAREER, MyGM, etc.).

I'm experiencing sound cuts during quick game crowds sounds and such, didn't try any other modes as yet

Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah me too man.. Seems something else breaks when they fix something. I know its a hard thing to balance but just very frustrating when you purchase a ps4 just for this game..

ok i thought it was just me..they need to patch the patch..that patched something else. And fix the shooting % and tendencies of ur teammates.

I also am experiencing the sound cutting out during gameplay. Is this happening to both XB1 and PS4 users? I am on PS4. The reason I ask is that a poster on the PS4 patch thread reports he has never patched his 2k and is having the sound problem. He believes it is the PS4 firmware update (1.60) that is causing the problem. Just wondering if Xbox1 users were having the sound issue.

That was me.

Not only is my 2K unpatched, it's NEVER seen an internet connection. I update my PS4 with a USB drive.

This sound problem is killing my 2K. I just bought a PS4 yesterday and now the audio cuts out in 2K! UGH!

I think it's total BS that we now have to pay 50 bucks a year now for PSN. I have server issues with every game. Sometimes I connect fine but most of the time it's just rediculous. These geeks need to get it right.

Is there any way to delete the patch?

My offline MyCareer has been working perfectly until the latest patch. Now whenever I load it up it crashes and takes me to the start up screen.

Nice work, man!

It's mind-blowing how you can have such a beautiful game of basketball in 2k14 but it could be the most frustrating sports game of all time, from a technical standpoint.

I dint want to make a new thread for just this one question so I'll ask it here.

When the game is over and you view your gamecast/the scoring log. Can you not click on the description and have the replay of that score anymore ??

In quick matches I get jordan player of the game highlights and replays for every player.

Why isn't this working in mygm?

How? I've pressed every button on the controller and nothing happens. You know what screen I'm talking about right ?

After the game is done and you go to the post game stats, the screen that has the scoring log line by line....

ex: 3:50 1st quarter Derozan dunk.

Then you can click on it to see the play.

To answer my own question. This does not work for online games, you can't fern pause and look at a replay online. This only works for offline games.
