NBA 2K14 Uniform Updates Have Arrived For PS4 and Xbox One

2K Sports has finally updated the NBA 2K14 uniforms for the Xbox One and PS4 versions of NBA 2K14. Check out all of the updates in the embedded video above and let us know what you think.

2K Sports has confirmed you will need to start a new MyGM/MyCareer to use and/or see the new jerseys.

For those of you that are curious, this was strictly a uniform update, so the courts have not been updated.

Below are some of the updates you will see, as noted by the 2K Blog.

Miami Heat �Red Zone� Jersey
Minnesota Timberwolves Alternate Jersey
Knicks Alternate Jersey
Spurs �Military� Jersey
All The Christmas Uniforms
All these new uniforms will be available in MyTEAM as well

Was hoping they would add the classic Hornets jerseys to the Bobcats' options. If there was an option in the game to play as the Charlotte Hornets I would start a franchise with them in a heartbeat, alas it looks like I'll stick with MyCareer, and wait until 2K15.

Are we going to end up having to reset myGM again once the updated courts are out? It will be no use in a season if you have to keep starting over

Is there a reason the couldn't release a locker code to unlock these for those not using the official roster/have GM modes going?

I'm legitimately asking - I don't know if they built locker codes to only apply VC/animation packages or if it can be used in the same vein that jersey codes used to be.

This is what I wanna know. Ld2k tweeted me that they could be used in a new my career. I'm heading to work so I'm not home to check it out.

So I just tried 4 different scenarios creating matchups where both teams have on XMas jerseys and every time, the home team is automatically reverted back to the default home jersey. Seems like a glitch that needs to be addressed.

I read if you set the visiting team first, then the home team it will take both alternative jerseys.

I'm pretty sure that is not correct. Live did not have those jerseys available out of the box. It's a league issue that the jerseys are time released. It's a 2K issue that they got them out as late as they did.

Well they had them available by the first roster update, because I saw a video with the Chirstmas day jerseys during the free download period before the game came out.

Useless if you can't use them with custom rosters and in already started MyGM.

I honestly don't think you're remembering correctly. I have the game and I don't recall having the Christmas jerseys until right around Christmas. The Knicks orange jerseys weren't in either right away because they wore them that second game of the season against the Bulls and they don't wear them in that game's Big Moments scenario. But enough about the other game here. The point is jersey and shoe updates are timed releases dictated by the companies not 2K. Like how Li-Ning couldn't be in the game until a certain time or the updated All-Star jerseys. This is nothing new so I don't get why we're treating it like it is.
