  • Besides the great games in The Vault, EA Access members will save 10% on purchases of EA digital content for Xbox One offered through the Xbox Games Store.

If you decide to buy the game, your progress will carry over so you can pick up right where you left off.
You can join EA Access for just $4.99 per month, or you can purchase an annual membership for $29.99 per year on Xbox LIVE. It is in beta right now, but should be rolling out for Xbox One users very soon.

Announcing EA Access for Xbox One: The Best Way to Play EA’s Games

Today we’re revealing a new way for gamers to play more EA games. This is something we’ve never done before and we’re excited to share it with you.

We have partnered with Microsoft to deliver EA Access, an all-new monthly (or annual) membership for gamers exclusively on Xbox One that starts at just $4.99 a month. The service is being rolled out in beta to a limited number of players today, but it will launch for everyone on Xbox One soon. At EA, we are always looking for new ways to make it easier for gamers to play more EA games across all platforms, and we are excited about what EA Access will offer to players on Xbox One.

EA Access membership unlocks The Vault, a collection of EA’s biggest games on Xbox One ready for you to download and play. During the beta, gamers will have unlimited access to four great EA games: FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4™, with more titles being added soon. That’s over $100 worth of games for $4.99 a month. You can play these EA favorites as much as you want with the click of a button.

EA Access is a totally new way for you to play more of the games you love, for less. Here’s a rundown of the additional benefits EA Access members will get:

Awesome Value – Besides the great games in The Vault, EA Access members will save 10% on purchases of EA digital content for Xbox One offered through the Xbox Games Store. From full digital-download titles like the upcoming Dragon Age™ Inquisition or NHL®15, to additional membership services such as Battlefield 4 Premium or even FIFA Ultimate Team points, it’s all 10% off for members.*

Play First – Membership in EA Access lets you experience trials of new EA games up to five days before the release date.* It starts with Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA LIVE 15, and Dragon Age: Inquisition, but more are on the way. If you decide to buy the game, your progress will carry over so you can pick up right where you left off.

You can join EA Access for just $4.99 per month, or you can purchase an annual membership for $29.99 per year on Xbox LIVE®.

Soon, fans of GameStop will be able to purchase their EA Access membership in local retail stores. GameStop and Amazon will also carry EA Access memberships for Xbox One gamers across Europe, as well as EB Games in Canada.

Excited to check it out? EA Access will launch on Xbox One soon. You will find more information on the program at the EA Access website. Be sure to follow EA Access on Facebook and Twitter as well.

Stay tuned!

I highly doubt that. Like how others have mentioned, sports games will most likely be unlimited, but story based games will have a limitation.

It's all about replay value. Sports game always have replay value while story games are shelved after main story line is beat.

Concerning the Xbox One early preview program, I copied this from a member of us the program,

"Codes are no longer used for the preview programme. Once an invite is sent to Microsoft, it can take them up to 7 days to process the invite.

If they pass your invite, you will receive a console message that includes a link for the preview dashboard app.

This has the ability to register your console ID into the system so you can receive the preview system updates.

From registering your console with the dashboard app, it normally takes 2-4 days for console registration and then you will be able to update your console to the latest preview software.

Please note that not every invite is successful, Microsoft pick and chose who they want in the preview."

I'll admit I'm pretty disappointed at not being able to play NHL or Madden early. I had the Season Ticket for last gen, loved it and would without a doubt buy it again.
Wait....so you can't get Season Ticket on PS4?

No you cannot

Season Ticket doesn't exist anymore. It was replaced with EA Access which is only available on the Xbox One, as Sony passed on the opportunity.

the 10% off other incoming games while not much. is pretty nice considering i buy most my games digital. so getting games like Dragon Age Inquisition, Madden, fifa, hopefully Battlefield Hardline at the discount rate will be worth it for me.

Early Access to all the games is just the cream on top for me .
Its a bit hickory-dickory-dock.

If you are not one to trade-in and like to buy to keep: this is the venue for you.

If you like to exchange games: stick to physical purchases and petition for digital trade-in values on items you buy at retail conversion.

My guess is the early access to sports game will work similar to season ticket. The two hour or limited preview is probably for single player games like Dragon Age. Imagine if they let people play DA five days straight, many would finish the story and never buy the game. Personally I have been looking to pick up BF4 so I will probably just us this pass to get it along with some other nice perks. This is much better than SeasonPass.

I read about the first 17 pages of this thread and I have a couple confirmation questions after soaking in all that info, lol.

Ok, so I can buy this EA Access thing for one month ($4.99) and just play Madden 15 for the 5 days and then get out of my subscription? I'm not all that interested in the other games, therefore the $30 may not be the way to go.

Can I sign up right now for EA Access? And did someone say I can play Madden 25 right now?

Thanks on advance for the answers

Re: Madden 15: theoretically, yes. We don't know yet what the limitations may be on early access to games yet like restrictions on the amount of time you can play a game during the early access period.

EA Access is in beta and only available to members of the Xbox One OS Preview Program but you can expect it to be officially launched soon imo.

Yes, one you have access you can download and install any of the vault games, which is just those four including Madden 25.

Whoever sent me the invite thanks. How long are you typically in pending status for. I've been in pending for over 24 hours.
