That's how the my team on console is... Collect the best cards and play online against other people and earn coins to buy more cards...

There's a lot more spenders on console though... People shell out hundreds on day 1

Imma have to pass on that. Never been a sports mobile gaming sim fan like that. Just too similar to the console. I can see for ppl who die hard madden fans but that just isn't me.

Just made it to epic tier on the board, and pulled Macho Man as my freebie. I half-expected a support.

Free to play/pay to win is a travesty to video gaming.
They tell you that you can play for free when they really mean you have to pay if you want any shot at doing well.

See...I disagree to some extent. Unlike mobile games the console versions require skill and more strategy. I have encountered a myteam of TWO Jordans and Wilt and Larry and Lebron and pretty much highest ranked ppl. At that time my best player was a gold Joe Dumars. I ended up winning. Money cannot replace skill. True it gives them a better chance but me personally...just based off what I encounter... I dont need to pay a cent and can still win against those who have clearly payed.

Now if we talking FF13 online or something thats an entirely different story lol paying in MMOs is an isane advantage. But for sports... I dont think is that much an advantage for ppl

Yeah but then you have the people who abuse game mechanics or cheese a lot. If you have a super team and you are able to unlock a bunch ability cards then you are ml pretty much set as long as you have some basic knowledge of basketball. I love Madden's matchmaking because I don't have to deal with the 86 overall payed for teams and deal with people your own size. I mean even the biggest scrub on 2K can do well with Miami

I assumed madden...which is the same exact way. I just used 2k as an analogy. But that goes for all sports games. Now im usually on the recieving end of beatdown in madden lol but for 2k and fifa I can say that by and large paying doesn't benefit that much

It's just like FIFA Ultimate Team. If you pay it gives you a better chance, however skill will always come through because you play the actual games.

I'd be up for a mode like this on 2k15 if the online is good.

I think everyone knows that I'm not paying anything on a mobile game by now. I still have made a decent team. Started out with my overall rating at like 60, now I'm at 72. I've beaten a lot of better teams just because I know what I'm doing. I been playing Madden since the 90s, way longer than 2k. I'm good at 2k, I can win on hall of fame against the computer, but I think if I went up against people online I would lose. Can't say the same for Madden.
Meh I'll just stick to the console version. It's pretty much the exact same thing.... Just mobile

Exactly. And to me FIFA is by far the most difficult to master. Took me years to become good at it as far as learning all the skill moves and creating my own formations that fit me. Definitely not a pick up and play game

I've never played FIFA (not a can of soccer) but I've played a demo before and I'm sure I would get my *** handed to me

For what?? 2K15 MyTeam mobile??

Ahh. I like the game but I don't think I'll end up picking up. Reason being it's one of those games that if you don't pick up really early you will be left behind very quickly. I hate the multiplayer PvP but the co-op part is beautiful. Plus I got junior year to focus on so I'm going to need games that have a more level playing field.

Almost 2 days if you don't qualify and around 6-9 hours in the tournament. If you think this is long then you haven't tried out the the basketball one by these guys

Late season heroics have pushed me into the 7th seed and now with 3 matches left I should be set for my UR. I'm most likely not making it to the Finals so I'm praying that whatever UR card I get, it's a dupe.
