NBA Live 15 News Post

EA Sports has just released their NBA Live 15 improved visuals trailer. They have also released the NBA Live 15 features list.

Let us know what you think!

Lights, Camera, Action
We’re doubling down on visuals with an all-new scanning and lightning technique for the most photo-realistic player models in franchise history. Add into the mix player specific body types and contextual emotional responses and you will truly feel like you’re in the action.

Real-Time Physics in the Paint
Feel the impact of real-time physics on every drive, post move and collision in the most trafficked area on the court. 100+ new animations make it possible for something unpredictable and amazing to happen on every play. Scoring has been amped up with 3x the variety of dunks, layups and signature shots as you impose your will on your opponent with physicality you can feel.

Ultra-Responsive Controls
Passing, shooting and dribbling will feel snappier the moment you pick up the sticks. Freestyle Passing takes your assist game to the next level with no looks, behind the backs, and more. An all-new shot feedback system teaches you how to successfully get buckets, measuring three key factors in real-time to determine shot quality. Enhancements to bounceTek allow you to make cuts and change momentum on a dime, giving you the ability to create space and pull off devastating skilled dribble moves on the run.

Smarter AI & Transition Game
New AI logic drives all 10 players to move with intent and purpose while displaying greater off-ball awareness, adjusting as every play develops. Add in a smooth transition game as well as real-world offensive sets and defensive schemes and you’ve got 48 minutes and 94 feet of end-to-end, dynamic gameplay.

Defense Is Fun
New defensive systems make it easier to contain your man by using just the left stick. Contextual physicality, bumps and jostles, in addition to a new shot blocking system, delivers simplicity in controls helping you make that big defensive stop when your team needs it most.

Learn LIVE
NBA All-Star and Former ROTY Damian Lillard is your personal coach and mentor on the journey to becoming an expert NBA LIVE 15 player. Learn how to dominate LIVE like a boss with drills and tutorials wrapped in stories about Lillard’s path to the NBA.

I think if KD looked as good or better than 2k durant they would have shown him. I remember 2k showing off Irving in a trailer last and it was a shot fired at Live because the Live cover athlete looked better in the competition's game.

All Live needs now is buttery smooth gameplay and smooth online..

Love the difference in Body types. Dwight and LBJ look appropriately jacked in comparison to guys like Wiggins or Steph Curry.

There's the time when young Chris Paul dunked near/on young Howard in a very similar fashion and Lillard is much more explosive vertically than CP3 has ever been. Did people not see Lillard in the slam dunk contest. He had IMO the best one dunk of the night.

I am happy they finally took a real step forward to compete in the genre. All 2k sports has is the NBAso they will put up a fight to keep market share. This will make both companies go strong for the 2016 versions of their games

Certainly appears the big leap that was promised. Would love to see this as the beginning of a serious annual competition between the two games.

My initial impression of the EA NBA LIVE 15 trailer: WOW!!! This **** actually look better than NBA 2k15. For real, i am not lying....I thought the graphics was spot on ...it really look like what a real life NBA players would look like on TV...i am not kidding. NBA2k15 players for some reason....they all getting slimmer this year. LIVE 15 looks spot on...i mean just compare Dwight Howard on both games and you see what i mean. The size of players in NBALIVE15 is perfecto!! So, i am happy to see that. But of course graphics dont' mean nothing if the game play is weak. But at least, AT LEAST this game gives me HOPE! You know why?? TOTAL USER CONTROL baby!! That's right...all these years that I have to suffer under NBA 2K iterations year after year...this game NBALIVE15 gives me a glimpse of hope that i can finally be able to play the game based on my skills and not being dictated by the game heavy used of animations for the sake of simulation and realism. Here's hoping...

Way overblown. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment. Please calm your hormones.

Total control is what I had in ELITE. Game was very unrealistic and ugly. Simple things like bubbling the basketball when you have low hands ratings are realistic as well as stumbling over your feet and falling out of bounds. Fun is relative but simulation should be the main goal for both companies

Eeeeeeeeeeeee live looks dope. I already like it better than 14. It looks like I'm getting two bball games this year.

Lol no I actually meant the toothpick arms that James Harden, Noah, Lance Stephenson, etc.. had in the 2K15 trailer. Nice try though lol.

Looks like Live fans may FINALLY have a product they can be proud of....Hopefully this means competition between the two companies is back. Now about that college Football and Basketball (esp. the Basketball). Still going with 2K but I will give this a look for sure....I wish all the choices we had before would come back...Like in the PS1/PS2 era...man that was a fun time..........

Dat Oladipo dribbling. Spot on!
Live is very good at replicating signature running styles, dribbling animations etc.

As others said, we might be witnessing the greatest jump for a sport game.
I hope the demo comes very soon.
