Madden NFL 16 News Post

For those of you that enjoyed the Carolina Panthers vs. Seattle Seahawks interactive intro in Madden NFL 15, EA Sports makes it happen in the Super Bowl this year for Madden NFL 16.

Which 2 teams do you think they choose this year?

When you pop in Madden NFL 16 you’ll be dropped into the middle of an interactive, cinematic experience where you become part of a dramatic Super Bowl comeback. This is made more powerful by, among other things, a professionally scored musical composition.

If the presentation was like this throughout the game it would be the best we've ever seen in a sports game. Hopefully they get there someday, but it would cost a fortune. It's on another level from the interactive scenario in 15 though.

Why is Cam Newton talking to the Seahawks coaching staff?

for the love of god why?

i hope i can skip this and i hope even more it aint glitched so i have to repeat this crap later on.

I would assume one team is the Steelers based on the video of them doing some voice work a couple months ago. Hopefully they're working towards implementing this type of presentation in the whole game in the future.

I'd rather just start the game. The intro set expectation too high and caused the actual game to be a let down. Plus, I remember some bug causing me to play that unskippable drive scene over-and-over.

Don't force me to sit through this nonsense. Make it skipable with a button press.

This is non-sense, again I'll make my own situations...................just want to play the game and not deal with non-sense

I enjoy it.... However when I only have 6 hours with early access I really just wanna play the game

I'm guessing a lot of you didn't see my post. It was a option in the main menu when I played, not sure if that's how it will ship but when I played most people didn't even realize it was there until I pointed it out to them.

It's an interactive intro, I don't see the big deal. As long as you only have to play it once it's fine(which was the case for me). Guess I just have some patience with gaming. I respect them for trying to produce an experience.

My problem is the same energy and immersion isn't put into the real game. Especially some of the animations which were done particularly well not being in the actual game. Just doesn't make sense to me.

The people have spoken -- are you listening, EA?

I think it will be the Steelers and Giants and they'll some back and forth grabs from Beckham and Brown.

Seahawks/Packers, where the Packers blow their opportunity to get to the SB in merely minutes.

EA lives on the extremes, if they could just find a balance between the overextended work they do on the intro and the underwhelming work within CFM I would be much happier.

I think it'll be packers or cowboys vs the Colts or Patriots

Wasn't this done when the game was installing last year? I cant remember. If thats the case, at least you dont have to sit and watch a bar slowly move across the screen as it is installing. You get to actually play the game for a bit while it is downloading. Plus, it takes what, 10-15 minutes?? if that. You will live much longer if you practice patience....

As long as they fix the issue that made you replay the intro. That was frustrating when on a time crunch.

I'm looking forward to see how it's implemented.

If there is a good SB celebration, I think I would rather wait to see it until I actually play through a season and win it. Not sure I want to see it 15 minutes after booting up the game for the first time.

I am assuming the real goal of the intro is to catch the attention of folks walking by a kiosk at Game Stop or other retailer. I may not like everything EA does, but they sure do know how to market their products.

The real question here is, did they fix the bug that forced you to replay the intro (almost)every time you started the game up? That ticked me off sooo much.
