That fade route at the end to Evans was perfect. First time in Madden history that has worked properly and looked like it should look

I miss route based passing... But this looks slightly improved over what is usually in Madden so that is something.

With the Vincent Jackson catch, the throw is made to the front pylon instead of the back pylon. This is the only problem I have with it because IMO the throw should be made with the back pylon being the target. Again, IMO.

Dang. This looked great!!! Madden has never had the oppertunity to put one up high for your reciever to catch in the endzone. It was either you were wide open, ball went through the CB or intercepted. So awesome we can take chances to big play makers and not guarntee an interception every time.

Let's not panicked yet. This video is meant to show off the offensive side of the ball so I wouldn't expect to see elite coverage from such a video. I do hope coverage is greatly improved as it is one of my key concerns about the game.

Agreed. It will certainly be unique to Madden. We'll see if it's good or not though.

the #1 thing i am still interested in knowing about this game is whether or not the receivers will make these amazing aggressive catches and stuff on their own, or will I be required to user catch to make completions? I rather watch the receivers ratings play out then take control and do a user catch, so this is huge for me. Other then that concern, the video looked incredible.

I really believe that these new WR/DB interactions will benefit those who do not like to user the WR...In Prior Madden games the DB had the advantage unless you usered the WR; the DB was always underneath and throwing over the top of a defender was cumbersome, to say the leas; now it appears the DB and WR are being situated more realistically..

2015 and Ea Sports still has pre made faces it wouldn't be a big deal if you could edit or tweak them but damn you can't even change the hair

Is anyone concerned that there are now too many buttons to hit quickly in order to throw passes all while worrying about the rush and trying to find an open man? What was wrong with using the stick to influence the ball?

It could've been tweaked by now, but I read in Game Informer that they experienced trouble with the AI not selecting the right catches for the situation. Hopefully it's somewhat remedied by now.

I like the idea of having dedicated buttons (LT/L1) to making lob/low catches, but I also see people speculating that this means the end of the left thumbstick as a means to lead the receiver. I wonder if this is the case? Because I'd obviously still want the ability to lead a WR left/right in the case of a crossing route, dig, post, corner, etc.

Really like the new passing system, last year it was bullet pass or lob pass, no touch, so it's nice to see it being implemented.

I wish the CFM video would've show if there was any new gear or not, I imagine something simple like a single arm sleeve wouldn't be hard to implement, I mean RG3 already has one in the game.

I'm excited to actually have a new gameplay mechanic to learn in Madden for the first time in what seems like a decade. I'll also jump on the bandwagon that aggressive catching looks a little overpowered. Hopefully a few slider adjustments can even things out and give DB's more of a chance. The game looks promising, but if there's anything we know, it's not to judge a Madden game until you're really able to put some hours in.

Me too, that's what the other companies basketball offering brings every year. I love new controls as it brings everyone down to the same level for a while.
