The best Madden ever posts are comical. This is the same Madden from last year with a few new DB/WR gimmick buttons, and a much weaker D-line. I played two games earlier, and I noticed the CPU God mode is still there, but they countered it by having the CPU throw more incompletions than last year's version which does help. Penalties are mainly against the USER, especially in the 4th if you have a lead which is cheesy to me. Running is definitely harder. Every year I averaged about 150+ per gm no matter who I used, in my two games today with the Browns and Packers, I gained 78 with Crowell, and 54 with Lacy. 7 min. Quarters on All-Pro
Manziel threw 7 ints against the Steelers, but I plastered them for 418 yards with Aaron Rogers. And only threw 2 ints with him. I'd give this game a....

The 6/10 post are even more comical, especially when they stand out alone.
Just played another game and the CPU QB Stafford threw the ball out of bounds because no one was open.
Jacked up the penalties to 55 and one thing I noticed, the Roughing the QB is called more often than not.
Gameplay, the game is 8.5 out of 10.
7.5 until the bugs in CFM are fixed.

I figured I would just start an online CFM until the patch comes out to fix offline. Had a great Preseason game against the Rams which I lost 24-23. I only turned each penalty up just one so it would get capped and put run blocking to 55 for both cpu and user. My only issue is I'm not getting a lot of yards rushing the Rams had 90 and my team only had 63. Can't wait for the slider guys to come up with a good set and for the patch to drop so I can start my real CFM.

Another thing I noticed in the two games earlier, was a difference in the amount of "inches" field placements from last year. In two game today I saw one. Last year you'd see at least 5 or 6 per game if not more, which used to tick us off. Especially when you're clearly over the line.
Now in the Skill Trainer, while the inches marker didn't appear, I did get over the red line numerous times only for it to say, "not enough yards gained". It was only until I got about 3 yards over that it gave me the success. So I'll see what happens as I play more games.

Played 2 full quarters!
The Good, Pretty much everything! Game is smooth, Graphics are nice and on All Pro its Hard. 3 penalties against me, 2 vs CPU. Tied 7-7 at half!
The Bad
Cant get on Community Share & Ive always been a pre-snap guy so I can change my D on the fly, my complaint with this on is when your on offense and it brings up all the catch buttons and diff throw types when you are passing, Way to much crap on the screen. Hope they fix this otherwise this will be a HUGE issue going forward!

I'm loving the game so far! Haven't played Madden since '10, but liked what I saw at E3 this year. Gameplay is proving difficult for me, and I've seen realistic stats while playing. I'm having tons of fun, but man do I have a lot to learn about CFM!!!
My one thing so far is that the only penalty I'm really getting is holding, so I may look in to tweaking the penalty sliders ever so slightly.

It's much more difficult, I would always beat the CPU on all pro in 15 but I am 1-3 against the CPU

Came home from work, tried to play the first game Atlanta (me) vs. Cincinnati (CPU) exhibition, All-Madden, 15 min. quarters.
On my second possession, as they were showing the starting line-ups at the bottom of the screen, the game froze.
Not a great start

I'm playing my first game right now. All-Madden. It feels great. I only made adjustments to a few penalty sliders so far. Its half way through the 3rd. I'm WAS down 14 (24-10) vs MIN. There are so many things to like about this year's Madden and not all the advertised changes but more so the subtle additions.

FWIW, last year the NFL averaged 13.2 penalties per game. So A) the sliders work great B) the home CPU team had more penalties than I did.

Initial impressions:
BAD:
-Feels a lot like '15. Not saying that's terrible but it just felt the same.
-Commentary is a bore.
-My DBs seem to be brain dead. CPU receivers just wide open. I literally. Had a Safety stand and watch the ball go over his head for a TD. He stopped running for some reason.
-Aggresive/RAC/Possession catches are a good idea to me but something about it just feels like cheese. Maybe it's the pop up. Don't know yet. I do like the physicality of the contact though.
-The game feels fast even on Slow.
-Need a more robust halftime show.
GOOD:
-The running game. Although the whole "locomotion" seems overpowering at times, there seem to be true holes up the middle. I had my Center and RG double team a DL and push the line forward. A year ago, the HB would've just fell at that spot.
-I like the pop up stats for some strange reason.
-CPU QBs will run if they don't see anything open downfield.
-The WR/DB and OL/DL line interactions are great. Biggest prove meant IMO.
-I saw a DPI penalty with the slider set to 100. Although it was only one for the entire game, it seems like it will be a factor this year. There was too much contact on that play so it felt good.
Overall, it's good. Very similar to last year but I feel it's more intricate as far as controls go. Definitely need practice to learn how to do some of the more complex stuff naturally.
I would hate to play this game online though. I think it'd be a cheeser's wet dream with all of the improvements to offense.

Ok, so I started an offline CFM. I randomly selected the Lions. All-pro default.
Just finished the first game. I beat the chargers 22-21 on a last second field goal after being down 21-13 at the start of the fourth.
Stats-wise everything was good. Rivers completed 60% of his passes while Stafford completed 69%. Each team only got 1 sack. Rivers threw some bad passes when he was pressured, however, there was two plays where he got pressured and he tuck and ran with the ball out of the backfield like a running back... I though that was really weird.
Passing game is great. Throwing of your back foot will result in some wild throws. Throwing into coverage will result with a lot of hold-your-breath moments as you never know what the outcome will be.
Penalties were there but still too few compared to a real NFL game.
My starting RB had way to many of the carries compared to the backups.
Overall, its a big improvement but it still needs some tuning and slider work.
CFM needs to be torn down and rebuilt from scratch in my opinion.

I just started playing so I'm going to keep this short initially: what is with the very off colors in the game? I'm playing a night game at Lambeau right now, and the Eagles pants are quite obviously blue rather than green, while the Packers jerseys are really faded versions of the real jerseys.
Is this normal or is it something else? Any comments on the colors in the game? I mean they are so clearly off I don't see how the team at EA could have missed it and thought, "yeah that looks right."

Does that also eliminate the dumb xp point bonus that float out of their helmets?

Edit: Customize - Settings - Visual Feedback is where all that stuff is.
The only thing I can't turn off is the little stat bubble that pops up next to the players every now and then. I don't like that, but I can live with it.

If I can get rid of the goals before each drive and the silly icons that fill the screen you can consider me a happy man for now.
