Hey OS, Senior Editor Dustin Toms (@DustinToms) here. Release season is upon us, and the next big NBA title is coming up.

We've been invited to spend a day with NBA 2K this Thursday, September 10. I'll be flying down to The Hangar and have hands-on experience with NBA 2K16, conversations with the developers and opportunities to capture some gameplay footage (which will debut on the Operation Sports YouTube channel). We will surely come back with even more information overload for OSers to try and process.

1. In recent 2K's, I have had extreme issues when simply trying to pass the ball around the court. For example, I see my CPU teammate toeing the 3 point line and for some reason, they step in to catch the ball and shoot a long 2 or sometimes they run in a completely different direction, ruining what should have been an easy 3. Has the passing been tweaked so less unnecessary lead passes happen? I primarily use A to pass since I am instinctive on the sticks, so my primary question is, is passing smarter?

2. How is player editing this year? Are there more post move packages? Has shoe and accessory editing changed at all? New signature shots, sizeups, and dunks?

1. If not now, when will we ever see face masks as an accessory option?

2. Has the Shoe Creator been improved upon for 2K16?

Is Intentional Foul still going to require repeatedly pressing the X button (XBox One)? I'm sure I'm not the only one, but I've lost quite a few close games while attempting to intentionally foul by pressing X over and over only for nothing to happen. It has been quite frustrating to say the least, so I'm hoping that the Intentional Foul action returns to a single button tap as it used to be in the past.

Lol you have to hold x to intentionally foul ("xbox one") and holdLB for team intentional foul

This. Also is the stamina bar back in the substitution screen when you press the d pad?

Will myleague/mygm have the threepoint and dunk contest winners on the player card award screen?

Playoff atmosphere improved???

Community uploads are from the app thats how the community gets ther logos on there

I know there is some editing of the coach attributes this time, but can we edit the staff lineup for any given team in My League?

Also, although I doubt it's in this year, I'd love to have the option to include coaches in a trade for the future. It's rare, (Doc Rivers for example) but still part of the game.

Mentioning Doc, could we possibly have a coach with GM duties in the future?

Is create a coach a possibility? This would be very useful for classic roster editors.

Ok sorry if any of these have been doubled up;

Curious if AI subbing is affected by the gameplay changes made by OG and Czar. Or if AI subbing has been touched on at all in general?

Also if rim and dunk sounds were touched on at all.......?

TNT license? (This is a long shot haha) but we may have had a presentation blog by then.

And finally, will the PC version (well, all versions really.....) be available for pre-download? 50gb in Australia takes over a day and it would KILL me to have to wait until the 26th because we merely haven't been given the ability for pre-download......

My question:
  1. Is AI time-awareness better this year in handling special situations like two-for-one situations, end-of-quarter substitutions, overtime and responses to in-game injuries?
My concern stems from the fact that substitution and roster logic was not touched this year. There were some moments when I would be in a game situation and be saying: "WTF did the ai do there?"

I want to here from the guy in charge of shoes,player models and so on!!!!Have the classic player models been upgraded?please!!!!!!!!! it's difficult playing with them when they look nothing like themselves,and with all these great teams that have been added,you have to show the models some love!!!!!!

In the Pro-Am video we saw a full bench are these computer controlled players or can you have more then 5 user to a team as bench players.

In the SimNation Hangout interview, ScottOG said substitution logic was not touched this year.... which led me to my concern and question above.

Dang that's messed up. It seems like they have the tools in place for sim substitution logic. Such as the tab for bench use and the tab for performance. But it seemed like no matter what, the AI will always put his starting 5 back in the early part of 4th quarter (like at the 11:00minute mark) Even if they were tired or if someone off the bench was having a good game.

Maybe you can ask and get some kind of insight into this.mwould love to see the CPU "not" sub back in one of his starters that picks up 2 fouls early in the 1st quarter to put him back in with a minute left in the 1st quarter.
