Kyrie Irving put up similar stats, put up 55 vs the Spurs. Demarcus cousins and Marc gasoline are forces to reckon with. That's 11, that at least are at that level. Not saying he's right, but it's not a redicous reach.

I'm never a fan of comparing players of different positions especially something like a PG to Center. It's difficult to say that one player is definitively better than the other because the responsibilities and play styles are going to be fudamentally different. Saying something like AD or Cousins is better than Curry just feels weird to me because I don't see how you can fairly compare the players.

It's like when people would argue between who was better on the Lakers Kobe or Shaq. We are talking two complete different players that are both great at what they do and both players could individually change a game.

Championships are based on a lot of things like team talent, coaching, injury luck, cohesiveness.....

And just for fun look at Kevin Durants numbers in his mvp year, look at Ad numbers this year, he had a 30 Per. Harden was voted mvp by the players, and he got that rockets team without Dwight for a lot of time to the second seed. Westbrook had ridiculous numbers for depleted Okc. Chris Paul is a the best defensive pg and the best floor general.

Curry played on the best team on the league, ( as shown by iggy winning finals mvp) sat a bunch of 4 q ect. All I'm saying is there's like 7-8 players who on any game can look like the best player in the league, so what that guy said was not a big stretch to me

I can pretty easily be talked away from DeRozan at 6 (because yeah he's not that efficient and had a down year) in favor of Danny Green or Wes Matthews (pre-injury) or Kyle Korver or Redick or Allen/Iggy if you want the defense. But if you're saying Kobe should be at 6, then no. Kobe was a bad basketball player by almost any advanced or traditional metric last season and can't stay healthy. His usage rate is second highest in NBA which allows him to maintain a solid assist percentage, but overall he's clearly not elite anymore, even at a weak position.

Stop trying to discredit the impact Steph had on the league and the Warriors last season, that team ain't competing for and winning the title without him.

Klay Thompson

  • Better Free Throw Shooter
  • Size and Length Advantage

Jimmy Butler
  • Better Close range shooter and finisher
  • Can back down smaller or weaker defenders with ease and score
  • Can play with his back to the basket
  • Better athleticism (speed, motor and strength)
  • Better ball handler
  • Can take his man off the dribble consistently
  • Lock down defender (known to put the clamps on people)

It's just too much going for Jimmy....I can see Jimmy taking Klay out of the game, but I can't say the same for Klay.

...except the Warriors were 17.8 points per 100 possessions better with Curry on the court this season http://www.basketball-reference.com/...1/on-off/2015/

compared to 8.8 with Harden http://www.basketball-reference.com/...1/on-off/2015/

and +11.3 with Anthony Davis. http://www.basketball-reference.com/...2/on-off/2015/

Those guys had GREAT years, but Curry only sat so many 4th quarters because he was helping his team kill everybody else through 3 quarters. Curry's PER was still 28, and he shot only .048% worse from the field than Davis despite attempting 8.1 3s per game (which gave him an ABSURD true shooting %).

You can say he's not the best player in the league, sure, but 7-8th? It's crazy talk.

So there's never a night when you've seen those players I listed and been like"he's the best in the league" I never said he was seventh or eight, I'm just saying there is a class of 7-8 elite players who could be the best on a given night.

As far as the numbers, that team plus curry is unstoppable, nobody's debating that. But add Lebron to that team instead of curry, numbers would be similar don't you think? Same with Kd, Westbrook, harden, Paul, and Davis. Replace draymond and Klay with Omer Asik and tyreke evans, it's a differenct story. He's great, but those are team stats that are a product of the entire team and how they play with curry and vice versa. I'm gonna stop replying now, hope to see you on live 16

I didn't say any of that I just said there are about 10 -11 SG's I'll take over Derozan . Lol

Reading this is hilarious though. How did they give Harden the fastest SG rating what?

Is Lavine a PG or Monta? Those two are faster than Harden. Curry is just ridiculous though his skills are elite like probably going down as one of the best shooters in the history. He creates so much spacing for their team just by being a threat to shoot off the dribble in transition.

mannn....I wished these companies would-stop being bias in their ratings

No SG in NBA LIVE 16 has a higher Clutch rating than kobe

& yet Harden was #1 among shooting guards in the clutch

Harden speed rating is a bit too high, hes not that fast
