Are the Manchester United kits from Tuesday in the game? I've gotta say, those were friggin' SWEET.

Mainly the changes have to do with playing a longer game, so it needs to be a little less, clean, more turnovers, more mistakes, less clear cut chances. But you're right, this is far far from 15 which was never right really.

im really enjoying fifa 16. i feel like it plays the same as the demo, even fut games feel slower than last year.

i played almost 2000 games last year on fifa 15 and this years game is a large upgrade and imo the best fifa to date. i will be bummed out when my 10 hours is over

tuesday seems so far away

I've read some people speculating that it only happens with weak foot shooting and it's a new feature to better replicate preferred foot, but regardless it's the main reason people are saying shooting felt a little off in the demo code.

So I'm curious if it's the same in the final code.
This was my biggest issue with the demo. Hopefully it's improved/fixed in the final game. If not I'll just have to get used to it..

I guess the pace abusers are in for a rude awakening

I mean pace still matters for sure, it's just a little easier to contain with the new defensive weapons. Plus it's more like pace into space matters more than on-ball pace (which I think makes sense and is the right choice).

Great job here with the impressions.

So now that the winter gear bug is fixed, can anyone check out the equipment edit options if EA added stuff?

Booooo, the numbers were too bright! But hey, more power to you if you liked them.

I tested this last night. It is due to the players shot power and shooting foot. Diego Costa was powering them in on his main foot. Weak foot, not so much. Then I switched to someone who had 65 shot power, and all his shots were finesse like. So it does seem intentional.

As the 450+ pages of the Fifa 15 slider topic can show...

Just a little jab here Orion, take no offense in this phrase, it´s just good natured fun!

Yep. It's nice to know they're gonna have trouble trying to dribble through a defence with doumbia though.

Right. I don't have beef if you bomb a ball to Doumbia down the wing as he should run it down, but dribbling through everyone with just pace isn't the same thing and shouldn't happen so often. We shall see once people get comfortable how it's all feeling.

This is dumb though. I would have a 30 shot power if I was in the game. Yet, even I can drive through a ball with my laces while keeping it low and putting it in the corner.

If I was to power through it with my left I will most likely scuff the shot, but my body doesn't inhibit me from at least trying. The same thing should happen in the game

And just to clarify further. Bursts in tighter areas still exist, it's just hard to tell if that's more acceleration or dribbling-based -- or a combo of both for now. So if pace-y guys with poor dribbling can still do this it's not great but not enough testing in the wild yet to see the fluctuations,.

Pace in space can be running down balls, or it can mean just pushing the ball out ahead of yourself. Both those things are very much alive (and should be).

Well it ends up being more realistic. It kinda represents those players that can actually shoot a way faster shot then you, but in a tense match they don´t seem to cope with the pressure and usually miss what might seem easy for us. This way it makes us think with whom we´re shooting and in what situation, because in the demo even players like Costa made those kind of lame shots.
