Some of the qb's still have them I know Rodgers does

Major bombs still to be dropped?
Several major system changes?

I enjoyed the heck out of Madden 16 more than I had any Madden in a long time, but if this right here hints at something like actual line stunts and being able to call them independently of coverage for Madden 17, I just might be ready to sign over my first-born to somebody.

We already know we're getting gap assignments and new zone coverages based on the up to date NFL. To me that's potentially a huge win.

And these two things alone would be enough for me to geek out over Madden 17... gap assignments especially since I've been begging for them for almost 10 years, but if I ever got that in an updated Madden AND access to authentic defensive line stunts AND could combo them up with different coverages, I just might locked myself in the house, disconnect the phone, and cut off every person in my life. I'd turn into a straight up shut-in.

Always interesting, this time of the Madden release year...see what could be.

I want to both thank and congratulate the SS crew for tirelessly keeping that flame alive and continuing to give a flesh and blood voice.

I am always excited for Madden this time of year. It's really great to hear from the devs as we get these peaks. Rex sounds authentic from that interview.

As a long time Madden fan, from the days of the very first release...I temper this with the reality of having been here for every single Madden release...till it's shown to all work at release as the box describes, it's all just new Madden promises and new Madden release hype to this customer.

I look forward to being pleasantly surprised with more Madden 17 news.

P.S. the situation Rex outlined at the beginning, politely describing the working intra-relationship with "Marketing" sounds really dysfunctional. Life in corporations huh?

Rex sounded about as angry and frustrated as I did after finding out that custom draft classes or player editing in CFM wouldn't be in madden 16.

It's really good to know, there is much more than that trailer, I couldn't understand why they would put a trailer out with some of the stuff still showing that has been a negative to the game. (such as players walking and looking at the play, when its clearly not over). Can't wait to hear what are some of the major announcements.

Eh I doubt it. The game has to be marketed to two very different groups of people. The people like us who go on forums to talk about the game and the casual players. The casual players won't even know who Rex Dickson or why what he said about the trailer in this interview matters.
