The top five players at any position are always going to be relatively close to one another in OVR and ratings, barring some anomalous situation.

Last year Lynch was #1 at 96, Bell was #5 at 94. This year Bell is #1 at 94 and Miller is number 5 at 88. The type of differentials that some of you guys want to see is never going to happen in Madden.

Unless he comes back and shows lesser ability and production, his ratings in the game shouldn't be arbitrarily lowered. Does Kane just randomly lower his speed 3 points, or lower agility 4 points. His thing seems to be weed and booze, and not PED's, so that would make potentially lowering his ratings make even less sense.

Lamar Miller Top 5...?

Lacy is not a top 5 back?

Shocking.

If he misses four games, he should come in lower until he shows he is back to football health.

You've gotta be kidding, Doug Martin a better back than Tom Brady? A no buy from me

(Sarcasm at the 9+ page argument of the last thread)

I'm sure he will have high 90's in trucking and eating

I don't watch much for the dolphins but frequently watch red zone and do fantasy football and never saw anything out of Lamar miller that impressed me. I guess it goes to show how weak and devalued the running back position is these days that Lamar miller is considered a top 5 back.

ENuff about Bell's abilities when he comes back, if he is suspended; lets ponder if ezekiel elliott should be in Madden for now, and if he will ever see an NFL game, if the allegations hold.

(Off topic, my bad, but I couldn't resist)

RIP Dennis Green

He was suspended last year and came back as a beast. When ever he has missed time he has come back looking just as good. Why would they base his rating on what he MIGHT be when they already know what he is. If he comes back and plays sluggish the they can go back and change his rating.

I don't think anyone could honestly say that Freeman would be in that group of 5.....maybe top 10

Thing is, I don't think EA/Tiburon is gonna have him removed from the game, so he will still be playable in game, unless I am missing something here? So, why should anyone be able to play with a suspended player, and then also have him at top ratings? Brady fits this issue too.

I was waiting for this to release and I was so excited that I will see gurly at least as the #3 back at lowest, but he's not even considered a top 5 back

Men lie, women lie, numbers don't

Hopefully they release more RB ratings like they did the rookies

This is something I'm actually wondering too. I'm a Pat's fan so I want to start a franchise with the team but it'd be weird if Brady was available at the start of the season. Of course I can make the adjustment myself but it just takes away from the authenticity.

Something tells me he's gonna be pretty beastly. Maybe something like awareness held his ovr down a point or two. Also I'm sure if power back is your set as your scheme preference his ovr will be elite

Are the actual ratings lower or just how the overall is calculated. Seems like if these same ratings where plugged into M16 all these overalls would be higher

On Twitter Kane said that Gurley is number 11. 92 speed and 92 acc.

# 38 JayD @ 07/22/16 01:22 PM
I believe Gurley will be 6 and Freeman 7.

Can't wait for those test once full ratings are released.
We will see if EA tried to pull a fast one.

I know awareness was/is greatly tied to OVR changes.
