FIFA 17 Trial Available For EA Access & Origin Access Subscribers, Play For 10 Hours

The trial version of FIFA 17 is available now for EA Access subscribers, weighing in at just over 40 GB.

UPDATE: It is also available for Origin Access subscribers.

If you aren't seeing it available, try the following:
  • Open EA Access
  • Go to the Game Trials tab
  • Click the EA Sports FIFA 17 tile (It might be labeled "Coming Soon")
  • On the bottom left, click the Game Details button
  • You will then be redirected into the Microsoft Store, click the Free Trial button to start the download process
REMINDER: You get 10 hours of gameplay, so make sure you exit out of the game if you are not playing. Don't pause and lose those precious minutes.

For those of you that can download it, play a few games and let us know what you think.

I pre ordered nhl digitally with about an hour left in my trial. When the trial was up the screen went grey and it said the trial has expired but then a second later it said you have a 10 hour trial and it let me continue the game I was playing. So to be safe I would pre order b4 your first trial is up. Again this is going off of nhl and madden. I have four hours left in my first Fifa trial. I will prob play about 2 hours tonight and pre order tom and hopefully get the 2nd trial. I will let you guys know if it works and please if anyone else tries it let us know. Also I have read people saying that if they pre ordered before they started the first trial than all they got was one 10 hour trial. Yes they are punishing people who pre order. Maybe those people can try and cancel their pre orders.

Just tried to play and it keeps saying that I don't have an active ea access subscription for the gamer tag that is signed in. I checked and my ea account is current. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yeah same for me........was looking forward to a few games but not to be it seems.

I fully turned my xbox one off. Held the power button down on the console for 5 seconds. Then when I turned it back on it worked just fine. Was able to get into the game. Try doing that if you are having the same error.

Xbox status site is reporting limited service outage, which must be related to authentication. Everytime it happen I lose access to all games since I'm not technically on my home console.

Oh god. I love the way the game is right now. Played some Pro Clubs with friends after mostly Career Mode and it was great.

Same here. I love how it plays right now. I want to go ahead and purchase it but am afraid that at some point the devs are going to cave to the 100 youtube trolls who are complaining the speed it too slow or the controls are too laggy because they cannot queue 3 skill moves and then instantly fire a shot off if the on screen character is out of position, because you know, who gives a crap about human body physics.

Am I saying the game is perfect. Hell no, but I can take what it gives me. If I couldn't, then I wouldn't buy, as are these trolls choice. I don't want to buy one game and in a month find out I own something different.

If EA is not happy with the gameplay and decide to change it after release, rather than just fix bugs, then they should allow customers to return the game. The fact they can do whatever they want and the customer has no recourse is BS. Customers have recourse before purchasing a game which is not to buy a game they don't like. Customers have no recourse if they buy a game they like and then the devs pull the rug out from under them and completely change the game. EA should owe a refund to everyone who purchased a game prior to a game changing update when it introduces a 'new' game they would not have purchased initially.

Well I'm sad to report that you do not get a 2nd trial if you buy the game digitally after starting the first trial. Like I and a few others said this worked this year for madden and nhl. I played my first trial and with it saying you have less than 2 hours left I bought the game digitally. I was checking out the story mode playing as Alex hunter on crystal palace at Anfield. The screen went grey and instead of immediately saying you have a ten hour trial it said "you're too early" and I'm **** out of luck. I was gunna buy it digitally anyway, but I had my hopes up.

I can't get the game to start. Goes from the initial loading screen to a black screen and after a while goes back to the dashboard menu. Deleted it and re-downloaded several times and always the same thing. Anyone else experience this?

I'm fairly satisfied with how the speed plays in FIFA 17 for now, but wait a month to see what this game really turns out to be because EA usually releases a patch about a month after release and usually chagnes something drastic, such as increasing speed like in FIFA 16.

I tried this earlier today too. Was really bummed I didn't get another 10 hours. Oh well. Back to PES until Monday at 9PM. I'm really looking forward to continuing The Journey.

Very disappointing that EA could not put in a fake Asian champions league. There's enough Asian leagues to do so now. Seems a bit lazy IMO.

As for gameplay, just tried one half and turned it off. Feels like the same FIFA as always. Not necessarily a bad thing since I do like FIFA, but for the first time in years I am not eager to purchase on day one.

Agreed. Would have added a lot to playing a CM in the Saudi League, Japan, Korea, or Australia. Can't understand why they didn't add in an "Asian Champions Cup."

Pre-ordered on PC so I can play tomorrow.

Only getting it on Xbox for Pro Clubs with friends too, a mode I am pleased to see has been improved upon.

Enjoying the squad challenges they've added. Rewards aren't great (Shock) but if makes duplicates/useless cards handy

This is the year i dont get FIFA. I am so done with this sh*t boring career Mode. I played via ea Access a career with West Brom. First Thing that bothers me is, that it's only fun to Play in PL. Serie A, Bundesliga oder PD have Not enough real Stadiums. All these generic faces and Stadiums are annoying me. i dont choose a Team without its real stadium. Second Thing is that cm is boring as hell after 1-2 seasons. Other Teams do Not create good prospects, Transfers are still broken (in my first transferperiod Bayern sold Alaba to Juve (again!!!) Sold Thiago for 50 Mio € to Tottenham(!)and bought ozil from Arsenal for 80 Mio €. Yeah that's aboust realistic, ea. Manutd bouht lukaku for 56 and Sunderland bought icardi for 37. That Shows me EA couldnt Care less about us offline cm players. The only Thing you Can do is Transfer players, train them and Play games. I want to build Stadiums have negotiations with Sponsors. Creating new Jerseys after a season. Just pust a Little effort in this Mode ea. Please!
