I am also looking forward to create a player revamp.

Humanity AI under Gameplay changes. That has me curious. Maybe further refined player behavior in the field? Bad fielders more likely to take a bad angle on a hit or make poor decisions when throwing to a base? Or maybe it could have something to do with situational hitting? Or base running?

Regardless, it would be cool if AI controlled players actually behaved noticeably differently according to their personality. Some hustle always, others frequently dogging it. Some play conservatively and don't take chances in the field whereas other are flying all over the place trying to make every spectacular play even when it is ill-advised. Like Kevin Pillar or Javier Baez making spectacular plays, but run-of-the-mill fielders just playing basic defense.

The "cat and mouse gameplay" has me intrigued. I'm hoping it has something to do with pickoffs, but we shall see.

It definitely looks like we are finally getting a MLB Network Presentation!!!

I hope it will worth the long wait as I've been wanting this since 07 on PS3!

Could this be a spot for Home/Away equipment, if we're getting it this year?

So excited for '17! Personally, I am looking forward to the 'Franchise' stream because it is my most played mode. Of course, I am talking about Online Franchise Mode. It's not a secret that it has been a skeleton of the offline version and a part of me hopes that it is finally touched up this year. Perhaps this will be the year where they do merge Offline/Online together like Madden was able to do.

I don't like to compare other sports games with one another but I really love the fact that Madden was able to do it with their mode. In the end, their 'Connected Franchise' idea basically became a lot stronger and one of its better modes. It didn't hurt to see them link it with their companion app later on.

Look, I know that the Online Franchise group received some backlash last year when we complained (call us whiners, if you want) but you cannot question our love for this game. We just want to feel the same type of love that the offline group receives. We do have friends to play Online Franchise with and there are people constantly making leagues with strangers that they invite from websites such as this one. By merging both modes, players that play with friends are happy and people who play franchise by themselves are too. This would make both franchise groups happy without feeling left out. Here's to hoping that Online Franchise receives major love this year.

They would be great for pre, post game shows and in game scoring updates from around the league. Or a sideline reporter as well perhaps.

Don't lie. You just want hot chicks in the game.

I think it's that or pinch hitting/relievers based on lefty/righty splits, especially like we saw in the playoffs last year with bullpen usage. Or maybe more situational bunting.

Depends on if SDS purchases a full license for integration. You get a much more deeper real world scouting report, and if they expand it, for battting, fielding and I was hoping for real world pitching repertoire.

I wonder... If Diamond Dynasty is getting a "seasons" mode, if maybe that and online franchise may become one in the same..?

Probably not, but heh, wishful thinking...
