Beyond this, Ichiro hit his 3rd grand slam of his career, in his first game of the season.
The Mariners picked up their 2nd win of the year versus the Angels, after having just 4 wins in 19 games last season.
Fun Fact: The Angels have now spent 9 days out of 1st place in 2009, after being out of 1st for only 8 days for all of 2008.
Going to sleep in first is a good feeling.
