I've always been an early riser. Many times I crash early on the couch at night while watching TV with the wife. I always look forward to playing my next big game in NCAA '09 but often lack the energy or time to do it at night. That's why the 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. time slot has turned out to be a pretty good gaming time for me.

The kids don't normally wake up until after 6 so that gives me the perfect time to get a dynasty game in. Why lie awake in bed or surf the internet when I can be playing a meaningful game? I always have a lot of energy in the morning and this morning Nebraska paid the price. I pummelled them in my final regular season game to take the #1 spot in the BCS. Apparently they are night people.

Ever since my daughter was born I have had to find time to play. I want to dedicate as much time as I can to her, so I was usually getting in a game either after she went to bed or before she woke up. But like yourself, even though I'm a night owl I usually don't feel like playing. For about the last six months or so I have been getting up at 5:30 and getting in a game. Usually im done by 6:30 and still have enough time to get ready for work.

I just picked up some decent headphones this weekend so I can play with some real sound when the kids are still sleeping in the morning. Very nice. Especially since I'm replaying Uncharted and the music is outstanding.
