I think something that needs to be highlighted is modifying the optional control settings. The sliders are one thing, but IMO you need to modify the control settings, such as crosses, to really unlock some elements. Once you do, then the ability to really put long crosses in front of players becomes a reality and the field opens up a lot more.

If you're playing with the default control settings, then your crosses are probably just going directly to your players instead of allowing them to really run to them. Especially for some of the comments about tactics and playstyle. Being able to put a ball long and allow your forwards to run past can really punish these teams that want to play press all game.

Playing at normal speed and full manual and 10 min. I played 1 in WC and another in Legendary.

So I played a game at slow speed and it is much better. Everything is more realistic and there is less hectic in the game. The arcade character of FIFA is less toned. I really like it.

the problem that at slow speed the defenders just don't keep up with the opponents

Slow speed is an absolute no go with the sliders. Players just blow by your defenders. They’re all caught flat footed.

I haven't noticed that but I will have to play more. I couldn't understand why though. I mean, the speed refers to all players and not all defenders, right?
