Sup all,

I’m about to finish my first full season in ‘19, and was wondering if franchise mode and/or the gameplay in 20 is worth buying the newer game and continuing the save on there. Or if it’s close enough to ‘19 that I should just keep moving ahead on my current game.

No brainer. Best baseball game ever made......yes it is a great upgrade gameplay wise.

Franchise exactly the same except for the new roster and pitching rules.

Well worth it.

All about the gameplay👍🏾, probably best replication of a sport in video games and I'm a 🏀 guy. Consisently the best sports video game.

At the current $40 (and even back when it was full price in March) definitely worth IMO but it should be close to another drop. if you can hold off till it hits $30, I'd jump on that like a fat kid on an ice cream cone

Agreed with above.

For the discounted price now its 100% worth the upgrade due to gameplay alone. As has been stated the franchise mode is exactly the same except for new rules and I will add that the roster building by the CPU teams is better in '20 versus that of '19.

After playing +400 games every pitch every at bat it's terrible. You'll be having... having... ALL THIS FUN!! Definitely didn't get my money's worth. Way to go SDS you've set this high bar for simulation sports. Okay I might be over selling it. I'm on the bad side of 35 so I have a lot of sports gaming behind me but it's probably the best sports gaming experience I've had in a long time. Not perfect but very good.

and one more thing. you're probably going to want a different schedule to play rather than replay the same one you just did. the only way to do that is to advance your carry-over from 19 to 20

Haha! Well then, guess I’ll be getting 20! Thanks all.

I looked it up in the PlayStation store on my console, and it was still 60, but I see it for 40 online on the PS store and elsewhere so I’ll figure out which way to buy it. Was just hoping to DL it and have it, doesn’t look like I can do that.
