Sprint to End NASCAR Sponsorship

I wonder if this is the opportunity Wal-Mart jumps into the NASCAR circle. Wasn't it rumored that Wal-Mart wanted something bigger than a main sponsorship with Jeff Gordon a few years back when he was looking for one, before he got Drive to End Hunger?
