Videogamer.com has the scoop.

Quote:
"Some PS3 versions of multiplatform EA Sports titles have in the past angered gamers because of frame rate and graphical issues. The PS3 version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08, however, did not suffer from similar problems, and EA looks set to achieve parity once again this year."

Play.tm has posted their interview with David Rutter, producer of FIFA 09.

Quote:
Play.tm: "The player attributes improvements are interesting. Will there be an emotional dimension to this? For example, will players suffer lapses of confidence after mistakes and the like?"

David Rutter: "So, there are emotional elements we can integrate. However, we'd want to keep it be playable. You wouldn't want to score a goal against an AI team and then find that the opposition collapsed entirely. However, there are things we will do. For example the AI will changes the way it plays based on your actions. More interestingly, if you've got an eccentric goalie, and you're losing in the last minute, he'll come up for a big corner."

You like the links? Let's talk about them.

Only in Hawaii would you look up around you and see blue skies, the sun beaming down on you, and a light mist of rain is coming down......

Typical day at work, but it was kind of slow.

You like the links? Let's talk!

Fixed the solar water pump issue over the weekend. We had a water main break the night before and somehow, air or junk was in the pipes going up to the solar panels. My dad and I just got a garden house, connected to the pipe that goes back to the tank and drained out the water from the solar panels.

That did the trick, as I saw some white milkly water coming out. Yuck! Everything works!

PALGN has posted their preview of Midnight Club: Los Angeles.

Quote:
"The final race mode we saw was red light race. Basically, you race from point A to point B by taking whatever route you like. We were quite amused when our opponent was slanging us for taking a bad direction, only for us to beat him by a country mile. Racing a high speeds and through shopping mall shortcuts is all good and well, but players will have to deal with the fact that there are some police in the game as well. And damn, they were persistent. "

Like the links? Let's talk about them!

It was unusual to see the bus packed on a Friday. Usually it is only 3/4 full. I guess this is what happens when gas in Hawaii is not dropping like the rest of the nation.

Not sure what size monitor I should get to go the dual monitor route. Currently I have a 19" standard screen size monitor. I want to get a wide screen monitor, but I think the shape of the two monitors are not going to match. Need to take measurements!

Glad the weekend is here. Going to try to see if this island got any more iPhones.

If you guys read my hot links yesterday, I was talking about wanting to just blow away a ton of money at once. Forgot to add to the list I want to build another computer.....

Talking about computers, my dad bought a laptop. It is a small 12.1 inch HP something, but the monitor is a touchscreen, which is pretty cool. It also has Windows Vista pre-installed.

The weather here looks like it is returning to normal Hawaii weather, except it is still hot.

The following websites has posted Midnight Club: Los Angeles updates:
  • Kotaku: Midnight Club: Los Angeles Hands-On

    Quote:
"It's really too bad our illegal street racing skills weren't up to the challenge. Sprinting through Sunset Boulevard in a Mazda RX8, then through the Hollywood hills in a late '60s Ford Mustang Boss 302 showed that, while we were thrown a couple of "REP" points here and there, we have a long way to go before actually having a respectable racing reputation."
  • Gamespy: Midnight Club: Los Angeles Preview (PS3)

    Quote:
"To kick things off, our Rockstar rep showed off a race with a 1975 Datsun 280Z on Sunset and Fairfax. To start a race, you simply flash your headlights at a starting point. A Sidekick will pull up a list of races for you to hit, based on theme. Midnight Club titles are driven by a strong sense of speed, and it's no different here."

Kotaku has the scoop.

Quote:
"Midway recently combined its Midway Los Angeles studio with its San Diego one, a move the publisher says will help the TNA Impact! team work better with its other studios in Chicago, Austin, Seattle and Newcastle, UK. Midway looks ready to increase the focus on that studio, hiring more staff there as well."
