Input on passing control schemes

This could apply to Madden as well, although I'm mainly experimenting with this in CFB for the time being. I've been mainly using classic after trying revamped on launch and not liking it. I've never used placement or placement+accuracy in Madden but I decided to give it a try in CFB the other day.

I kind of like it but I'm unclear on some of the basics. Like how are we supposed to throw lob or touch passes? On classic lob is just tapping the WR icon button and touch is just holding the button for a bit. Well on placement+accuracy you have to hold down the button to get the meter in the accurate zone so is every pass a bullet pass?

If anyone has a guide from a thread here or another site or something feel free to just direct me to that. But all I've found so far are youtube videos telling me to hold the button to get in the accurate zone with no mention of the differences between lob, touch, and bullet passes.
