Correct. There are no ratings every golfer is "you", and the same as far as attributes go, it all comes down to shot execution. I prefer that to licenced golfers actually. And as someone else pointed out, unlimited course possibilities. The course editor is the biggest selling point for me. Cross platform sharing is the next biggest, since you can downliad any great course made on any platform to the platform you choose to play on.

Idk I wanted real golfers. Not having a tiger woods game hurts. I love playing golf. Every time I play I never play as myself I play as a professional golfer. I guess I have no choice this year. I miss playing golf.

Once you dive in and start making courses, you are gonna completely forget about real golfers. Get in that thing and let your imagination run wild. I would rather have unlimited course options and keep adding to the replayability then have money being added to licensing that inturn makes the game more expensive and limits our course choices. Or you just keep downloading other people creations if you don't want to make them yourself.

Infinite courses for $34.99 with the golf club or 25 courses for $90 after downloading all dlc courses they charge you for, and you still end up limited. I can deal without the PGA licensing and Tiger is likely not in the next PGA game by EA anyway. They had a falling out.

This game looks great and I'll definitely pick it up. But there's just something about playing with the PGA Tour license and a good career mode that appeals to the Walter Mitty in me. Don't get me wrong, the course creator is awesome, but I don't think this will ever replace EA PGA Tour golf for me unless EA completely drops the ball.

I for one am ecstatic there will be no Tiger Woods or real golfers...I find that it's better to play with unknown golfers as no preconceived notions about how good or bad someone is. Not everything is better with licenses IMO..

I agree and I'm on board, however without having played it would have been nice to have different attributes like a heavier hitter vs a more accurate one.

If the max drive distance is 301 yards for everyone it might seem a bit strange. I've been playing the heck out of powerstar golf (which is awesome) and the progression is a good thing, and the balancing of power vs accuracy vs spin vs putting vs wedge play etc.

I think over time, that could be limiting for this game, but again I haven't played it.
