Creating a player in CFM

Might be a stupid question so I will apologize in advance.
Is it possible to create a player while in connected franchise mode? Like at the end of a season during the free agent period and whatnot?

No you can't. I don't think it's ever been possible. You can create a player, put him on a team and then start a franchise with that team. But for some reason once you start a franchise, the created player will have a consistency of 0.

You're not alone, I came here specifically looking for this and was about to ask the same thing. My slightly different version to the question would be, is there a way to edit a connected franchise file, with the intent to add a player that way?

YES. u can add a created player at during anytime of this game
BUT
u will have to create the additional player/profile whatever u wanna call it to be player CFM.... so if u have coach or owner as raiders but wanna create player u can do this., but your player will be seperate form the raiders and u can ONLY be YOU.. thers no way to be coach or owner and have created players. unless u make and import a custom roster which will only transfer to the start of your career...

to answer you simply. click R3 and create new character.. and select player... make your guy and run your career alongside with whichever coach or owner u had going.. only problem will be that u have to be on seperate teams
