I'm curious since this was released separate from the upcoming patch whether this will be the only gameplay fix and everything else will be non-gameplay related.

Easy fix ... Just like the above post states, all madden and a slight tweak of the sliders and deep balls are def more realistic.. Everyone thats complaining are playn on rookie pro or all pro..

Case and point

Jump ratings:

These are for running backs:

Christine Michael - 97
Legarrette Blount - 95
Knowshon Moreno - 95

Calvin Johnson has a 98 jump rating? Why

Christine Michael's NFL combine stats -vertical jump 43"
Calvin Johnson - Vertical jump 42.5"
Legarette Blount - 35"
Knowshon Moreno 35.5"

Richard Sherman is rated 98 yet his vertical jump is 38"
Dez Bryant is rated a 98 in game yet his vertical jump is 42.5"

In any case, this goes to show how screwed up these rosters are. I don't have time to dive any deeper, but I am sure I would be sick if I did. These ratings are horrible and a testament as to why we need new a new ratings system.

Odell Beckham - 91 jump rating in game - 38.5" combine vertical - how do these ratings make any sense

I'm 50/50 on deleting the tuning update. I feel like it has screwed up the running game. I'm seeing huge gaping holes at an alarming rate. All the running backs (user and cpu) have been averaging over 5 yards per carry.

Yep, infuriating... They tell us the tuner only touches the pass catching and it is so clear it touches other aspects of the game as well...Rex may think only the catching was touched, but I think he's got a little troll behind the scenes messing with some other things.

Easy to see, glaring issues like these blow my mind when it comes to madden. The game is definitely improving but can't play realistically if the players aren't rate accurately. At the very least you have to get the physical traits that anyone could google right.

Running game seems exactly the same to me. All I've been playing is head to head though.

Let's see how this bad boy plays with those rosters and what true "under the hood" fixes do with this game play.
Looking forward to those rosters for sure. The gameplay mechanics and physics are there. I couldn't even play Madden 15 WITH FBG rosters because of some of the issues but I'm loving this years games with default rosters. The line play just needs to be balanced properly, less overally time in blocks and more defense push/holding the point of attack in general to be more realistic. I just dont feel the dline is intense enough.
