Re: Madden NFL 10 FAQ - Part 1

id almost rather have it back to a single tackle category. I thought it always worked fine that way. Now we can see leaders in solo and assisted tackles. who cares? I just want to know the total tackles leader!

Josh from EA, who is working on this, explained the problem. On some screens (season stat screens) the columns are labeled incorrectly. The "Total Tackles" column is showing solo tackles, and the other column shows assists.

There are actually too many solo tackles. He is tweaking it down.

He said that changing the screen would take too much time to make the patch, so the column will remain mislabeled.

Re: Madden NFL 10 FAQ - Part 1

Forgive me if this has been addressed elsewhere on this thread, but I have to ask: with the new roster update containing increased ratings across the board for offense players in regards to pursuits on interceptions what will happen to draft classes in franchise mode? As franchises move on in years will we once again see the pick-6 problems as more fictional players come into the league? I'm assuming the update will not go in and fix all the draft classes, correct?

So sideline catch awareness hasn't been addressed yet? Thats odd.

these is the best madden game have played, but i have three little problem.
1.the kick renturn is way too easy.

thank you for reading.

HELL NO!!!!!! Online is totally out of control for madden. Waste O time.

but that is just me.....But i am certainly NOT alone.

FLATS to me is definitly the biggest issue along with the pursuit angles.

the schedule bug (4-6 home games in a row etc.) has been there since...well...since madden hit next gen. How it is NOT fixed is very concerning. This should be an easy fix. As of now, before you start a new season, you have to save and then keep letting the CPU generate a schedule that is at least close to realistic. But this process is tedious as you have to do it SEVERAL, SEVERAL times over to at least get it close.

As you say...alot of glitches and small issues are NOT even noticeable to most of us..its WHEN someone comes along and makes a big stink about it that tends to spread like cancer to other fellow gamers that fall for this evil deed. Its sad that one person can spark up a HUGE mess and that issue is usually a tiny issue that can be fixed with some slider adjustments or better play calling.

The simple fact of the matter is this...dont fall for what other people say..this is true with gaming review sites as well..take reviews as a grain of salt because only YOU can be the true judge of a game or a glitch in a game..too many are influenced by others and frankly.****ins their enjoyment of gaming and lose focus on what gaming is ment to be for us..which is to enjoy the game for what it is and remember that its not gonna be no where near true to life.. people have lost grips with what gaming is really about and rather have caught that nasty cancer of so called "glitch hunting"...

I've said it a zillion times... "glitch hunters" like Apex or Rmoody ruin the excitement for many many gamers..because they litterly dissect a game down to every last detail, make a huge stink about it and post it on forums, etc and many many innocent gamers are robbed of their enjoyment of videogames because they fall victim to the "glitch hunting syndrome" ... sad but true story and i mean no disrespect to Apex or Rmoody even though i may have bashed them two guys many times in the past but the truth of the matter is they have totally lost GRIPS with the meaning of being a gamer.

You know what though..i only speak up in hopes to get people to get back to reality here. I think this addiction of looking for glitches ruins fun for so many. Im just grateful that i have the mental capability to understand and realize that no game will be perfect and that asking for a game to mimic the real deal is just so out of the question right now with our technology capabilities with videogames... hopefully this post will open some eye's up and let some captive gamers ..once again enjoy some gaming, free from the chains of glitch hunting.
No real issue with the flats huh? I see your point and i LOVE M10. BUT....

Dude the flats are a HUGE problem. I only play offline and have come to hot routing my RB to block just to keep the game "even" versus the cpu. I know they said the AI was tuned to be more of a challenge, but with countless time spent on sliders, i have a hard time ever losing or even falling behind for that matter.

People saying that EA put too much effort in for online play well not if your like me and have online franchises going and play alot of ranked games for bragging rights so I thank EA for addressing the Online portion cause quite honestly the CPU is boring and easy to beat yes on All-Madden I haven't tried the elite yet. So those griping about all the online fixes it's ok just do like you been doing and playing offline those of us who say talk is cheap and to prove it on the field to do that YOU PLAY ONLINE...again Thanks EA. Any challengers my gamertag for xbox live is BlazeDutches my Ravens are waiting for you and with 7min quarters coming I can ball control even more can't wait.
