What do u guys think? U think, finally this is the Madden we been waiting 4?

We all know, 4 the most part, fans haven't had that Madden experience since the last generation, and we all expected bigger and better expectations 4 the next generation. But, it seems like, since the new generation we've been missing out on that experience we all had, that we just can't explain, but most fans seemingly share the sentiments. Now, with all the news of all the work they put in Madden 12, ( I gotta admit, extremely excited with the franchise, gameplay, and presentation news ) do u guys feel this could b THE ONE! Or should we not buy to much into the hype, like they're doing down in Philly, Lol!

It's not the game I've been hoping for but is does seem to be shaping up to be the best next gen madden so far but it's no where near what I've been hoping for from a next gen football title. We all have own own visions for what the game should be or could be and different levels of expectations and acceptance. My expectations are much higher while my level of acceptance has been drastically lowered.

Not yet, but they are definitely on the right path. Next year probably will be for me, because the commentary is a huge must on my list. I also think with the new improved commentary engine we will see next year, we will also finally get a real halftime and weekly franchise show.

The Madden I've been waiting for is described in the link in my signature. This year's Madden is a big step in the right direction though.
They addressed my biggest concern (the ability to edit players in franchise mode) and partially addressed another big concern (rosters), but there's still a long way to go. It worries me a bit when I hear people calling Madden 12 The One or anything like that, because I'd hate for Madden to think that everyone is completely satisfied with the game as is. Now, if they improve this much every year, in a few years we might reach the stage where there's not much to complain about.

Our next generation systems haven't even been used properly. We are using slightly upgraded PS2 and Xbox graphics on our PS3.Xbox360. The problem comes from developers not putting forth the effort or time in generating a new physics/control medium. Madden players run like they have a stick stuck in their buttcheeks. Its been that way since the early Genesis games. Skating is meant for the Olympics, not the frozen tundra. Someone must have the two confused!

You can also look at RPG's, GTA models, and even other sports titles (excluding NBA2K) all of the physics and gameplay resembles something you could have played 10 years ago! Please fix this EA

They've done a lot of things this year. It's looks like they're putting in a solid effort; that's more than I can say for they effort put into Madden 11. They've brought over a lot of the things from HC09, and they've listened to the community by addressing the suction and tumble weed tackles; however, it has to be polished. DPP has the potential to be revolutionary; no football game has ever tried to capture the intangibles, but the ratings in the past have meant jack, so DPP won't meant jack if the ratings don't.

And don't worry, the Giants, Cowboys, and Redskins will all be buying into the hype soon enough.

Not sure, I love what I have read about franchise mode. As a huge fan of NFL HC, it's music to my ears.

That being said, I would say I am cautiously optimistic. I am hopeful it is, but am certainly not sold.

Even if the gameplay only received marginal improvements, it would STILL be the Madden I've been waiting for because of all the Franchise improvements.

That's not to say that there aren't MANY other improvements to be made.
