Looks pretty good to me! Recently dusted off Mlb 2k11 and am having a blast.

This looks like an original xbox game... Not trying to stur anything up or cause trouble this game just visually looks awful.

So, did their efforts pay off?
Many fans have taken a great interest in his new game 2k12.
We all have disappointments
No wonder they are so sore and dour
I never thought they’d put it in black and white on the front page
We foresee no changes to the program.

I seen some improvements in that vid, my real be complaint for last year was the fielding was to automatic. I hope they fixed that for this years game

I apologize, I misspoke.

In online leagues, which I'm referring to, even with the sliders for running speed set to 0, there was no major difference. Especially for infielders who still had super speed unless it was Manny Ramirez playing SS.

The lack of hit variety made it pretty difficult to find holes in the infield unless it was hammered through the 4 or 6-hole or was a bleeder up the middle. 1st basemen still warp to catch most everything within 15 feet of them, usually without even having to dive.

On top of that, for throwing, you could put accuracy at 0 and make the meter as hard as possible and it was still easy to pinpoint throws from the field. I expect this to be improved though judging by their emphasis on throwing.

The 5-point increments need to be switched to 1-point like NBA and allow for a greater extreme at 0 and 100. If I set fielder speed to 0, they should barely be able to move and 100 should play akin to The Bigs.

Re: Major League Baseball 2K12 Video - Chris Snyder Interview, First Glimpses of Game

I'm excited. Glad we got some footage even if it was only a few seconds.

Player speed seems to be a tough one for 2K to balance which is odd since you would think that would be an easy stat to translate into a video game. They still have a lot of time to work on it though and it shouldn't be overly difficult to fine tune unlike animations or hitting logarithms.

The 2K series has always been solid fun. It has just lacked polish. If they concentrated on refining the core gameplay and polishing everything up instead of adding new gimmick features I'll be happy.

It seems that is the problem with so many sports games on the yearly release cycle. They spend so much time trying to reinvent themselves each year that the core gameplay never gets attention. How many times have we seen a sports title that seemed like it was a year from greatness only to see the core and feature set take a completely different path the next year. Hard to finish when you keep restarting.

Where ? Be specific because I really didn't see anything different from last year.

The game seems to play better though.
