Force Trades

I began my franchise pre-patch 1.16 with the OSFM rosters with the instant trades on and force trades on. Not to just do whatever I want but I like to try and replicate trades. I don't have roster control for all teams on, just mine, so I have to trade to my team then trade to ther other team and get my guys back to make trades happen. Well yesterday I went to do a trade and the team turned me down. How is that possible with force trades on. It has worked in the past on this franchise. I didn't see this question listed when I was searching.

I just started a thread about this a couple days ago. Something happened after the patch with trades. I had force trades off and controlled one team and after the patch I couldnt unload any players. I was in the negative and wanted to trade some high salary guys but nothing would go through. So I restarted with forced trades on and trades went through the first season. I simmed 2 seasons cuz I was curios how my sorry Orioles would do. Then began to do some trades and everything got rejected. No one is talking about this.No info that I could find. I decided to restart again with forced trades off and budgets off. So yeah....Cant help ya with your problem. Could just do the 30 team control and the wotk arounds. Im not gonna mess with that. I justlive with weird trades going on

For both of you, are budgets on? This could have something to do with it. I don't use force trades but have noticed it is much more difficult to make trades once every team gets close to using up their budgets.

Yeah I have budgets on and I thought of that but the player's contract I was trading fro was more than the contract I was sending so I don't know.

budgets were on but even if you have abetter player with equal slaries it still wouldn't go through .Trade logic is weird no matter what you do.
