My Career Optimal Settings

Any suggestions on what settings I should select for my career?

I'm playing as a center and only focus on rebounding and defense. But I'm currently on default 8min quarters. Right now the timberwolves (my team) is 4-0 and they essentially seem to be dominating. I've heard the at the highest setting you get a VC boost but the CPU is pretty dominant and borderline cheese.

I want a realistic type game where there are plenty of rebounding opportunities for me and decent scoring (not in the 120s every game).

Any suggestions would be awesome.

I would say superstar sim. Default makes the shooting percentages too high and sim is more realistic. Superstar is as hard as you can get before the game becomes cheese.

Superstar sim with real player % for shooting and ft's it makes it realistic you will have different games everytime one game it was 112-113 my team winning then lost a close defensive miserable shooting game 87-84 playing on 12 minutes

Hey Tarek, if you would be so kind, reply back after a few games with results and settings you used. I too am a center, and have HORRIBLE rebounding stats. I'm not sure if it is me, or if it is the game, but I struggle to get 5 a game. Thanks in advance.

Interesting. I am playing on 12 minutes also and I'm really sick of ridiculously high scoring games. Does the shooting % setting effect your own shots? I'd like my own to still be reliant on pro stick release.

I'm pretty sure Real Player % ONLY affects your shooting. I tried HOF Sim with that setting, thinking it would affect the CPU, and the CPU still shot 70%.

I've had pretty good success on Superstar Sim. I've been blown out, but we've also blown out some teams. I've accepted the fact that without sliders, shooting percentages aren't gonna be 100% realistic, so I'm just trying to win and lose at realistic rates.

I agree. If you're a 4 or a 5, forget playing in HOF Sim. It's riddic. I will try superstar sim today.
