Something MAJOR that the REC CENTER need added in the next Update

Why cant we call TIMEOUTS in the rec. like this is a key element in any sport. and we cant do it in the REC? like we have everything else to produce a sim like environment (refs, arena, calls, annoucers etc) BUT we have no Timeouts.

why do we need timeouts?

- To Gameplan and stratagize better
- to stop runs
- to stop "Nuts"
- to ADVANCE THE BALL

the last 2 IMHO are the most important things.

a quick timeout can stop a moron from taking a ill advised shot,

and i cant tell you how many times with under 5 seconds left in a game, have i seen something stupid progress because we couldnt have the ball advance up the court. so instead someone throws a full court pass that goes out <_< or worse.


now the question is,how do we keep that 1 guy from abusing them? GIVE EVERY PLAYER 1 TIMEOUT. so 1 team = 5 timeouts. in the scenerio one of the players rage quit and they still have a time out , have it go to the PG of said team (or the next position down if he quits) so the team doesnt lose their time out. just hope hes a mature enough person to not abuse it for his own pleasure.

TLDR. Give us the ability to call time out in the rec. i feel it would do more good than bad.

Timeouts would certainly be helpful.. One per player isn't a bad idea either, although I don't know about giving it to another guy to use at his discretion, maybe just let the AI have it to call when it feels necessary. I have absolutely no faith in a great majority of online 2K players.

I wonder if anyone ever tried this. Maybe that timeout that they give is is active but everyone has to call it at the same time for it to work?

Additionally, I'd like to have the ability to chat with my team. It makes no sense that isn't automatically part of the rec games. Even if guys without mics can't talk, at least let them hear what is being said. Would be super helpful for getting people to play real basketball instead of the nonsense that goes on and ruins the game experience.

A timer on got next when a guy is on there alone or there's not a full squad. The Rec always has that one guy who's alone and blocks the got next..

Everyone can already do that through the in-game chat, except no one does that because everyone will just start a party chat instead. And players without mics can still hear the different chats if they have it enabled in their settings to play through their speakers, I used to do that until I got one.

You're a Xbox player . On ps4 park ganechat has been broken since the 8th of October smh . I'd why 2k hasn't fixed it yet
