If this is the case I'll love this patch. I play offline on HOF with 3 pt sliders down to 41 and I hit around 50% of 3pt shots a game with average shooters. Mainly because it's too easy to get green releases on open shots.

The poor defense is part of the problem, but also the insane boosts from all these offensive badges that allow players to shoot way above what their actual attribute ratings are and allowing so many perfect automatic green releases with the new shot meter. All these tweaks to shooting has been a gigantic waist of time IMO when they haven't even addressed the elephant in the room - offense badges.

It took 7 patches to finally realize the anti-cheese code with the dribbling from 2k16 wasn't even in the game. That along with all the shooting tweaks constantly tells me they still don't have a very good grasp of what the actual problems are with their game.

You guys that keep saying "That was 7gb?". They have all been 7 Gigs. There's something with the way it's submitted for PS4 (And yes, I know this is like one of the few games where you download the qhole thing instead of just the missing chunk). You're essentially downloading all the previous tweaks again, everytime, and it's overwriting the previous 7gb patch.

Look at PC or XBox, they usually have the real sizes.

Edit: To the guy above me. They have a hard time grasping right now because they have 3 to 4 separate feedback channels and they are all different. Look at Reddit. There's kids on there saying every open shot should fall. Period.

You have the offline guys, the online guys who want to play basketball, the online cheeseballs, and the silly kids who don't understand the sport outside of LeBron and Curry. That's 4 feedback channels, all of which want different things, and all of which are very VERY militant about it. The fact that twitter is getting polled tells me that there's probably influence from higher ups that are concerned that 2k will lose out on the revenue stream due to a lot of the cheeser complaints during any tweak. I really think they need to use feedback on just glitches, and make a sim game. Set realistic goals and use serverside data to monitor and adjust those ratios without worrying about what our very schizophrenic community wants. Because we all want something different

i play MYGM offline and im scoring on AI on HOF at 75% shooting mostly dunks and kicking out to shooters, the AI cannot stop pick and roll, my game is pretty much broken, every team is double teaming Blake all game every game allowing me to get open threes, cpu defensive sliders on 100 everything, hoping the cpu gaurd the basket, i quit playing the game, who wants to run pick n roll for hr a game unstoppable

Read the notes and have noticed a couple differences besides the over dribbling but i like it.

Yes the glue a.i is my main problem. U pretty much have either a dunk or a kick out 3 and that's it. U can't Jab or use any of the offensive one on one moves to create space. Very unrealistic. I find it interesting that the CPU defensive counter tactic is to bump the ball handler which is actually a blocking call in the NBA. I'm thinking of labbing sliders for onball d to see if I can find a balance. I don't like touching sliders but only scoring on dunks or kick out 3's is ruining my experience. Anyone tried adjusting on ball d sliders?
