How to go about 30 team Association..

I have never tried this, but i have been reading in forums. This seems to be the only way to do the Association. So i have so questions..What Automation settings do you use for each team?..What all do u do for each team during the season, as far as trades and D-league stuff?..And what do you do during the off-season? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Re: How to go about 30 team Association..

Well I have been doing this ever since I got 2K10. So I know what I'm talking about here. For automation settings for each teams, I set simulation strategy and prospect scouting to automatic, and for offseason settings, I put pre draft workouts and things of that nature to automatic as well. Everything else I do myself. During the year I manage all injuries and roatations for every team, as I want to keep everything realistic. For trades and signings, I do everything that happened on real life, as long as it was realistic for that team(s) to do so in my current association situation. But when other injuries happen, I'll make a trade for a certain team if say they lost a player for the year, etc. Also be sure to turn player roles off before you start your association(in settings). For D-League, when teams need an extra player I'll have them sign a d leaguer to a 10-day contract, etc. For the offseason, make sure before you start you have all the big free agents' contracts set up to your liking so they will be able to test free agency. I then make all real life transactions for teams just like during the regular season, using logic for other moves etc. I suggest downloading my rosters, sliders, if you like, as I have found the perfect slider set after months of tweaking. I plan on uploading them to the PSN tomorrow. I will be happy to answer any other questions you have.
