I'm confused as to why 2k would have nba 2k8 on the floor playable. atleast they updated the rosters it seems.

Impressive vid imo. I love the new presentation and fluid animations. I like the camera angle as well.

There's too many nitpickers in this thread, the game looks great.

Will this game be playable for the public at gamescom? Got the chance to visit the gc but thought that 2k sport wont show nba 2k there!

Honestly, my thought on the video was that it looked great. The pause menu was intriguing and i'd like to see what the rest of the menu interface looks like. Asterisks about slider & difficulty aside, it looked really slick. That said, the things that made me dump 2k10 after a couple of days (control, shooting, general feel) can't be judged from a video. Looking forward to a non-bare-bones demo from 2k next month.

The game looks like crap and so does live 11.
Looks like im stuck with going outside and playing real basketball till 2k12.

That Brendon Haywood reach on Wade was terrible. You've got a 7'0" center running side by side with Wade, reaching across his body and knocking the ball away. That's not acceptable gameplay to me so I hope the 'sim' sliders address plays like that. I don't understand why the program the game to make attempting steals the foundation of defense.

That looks exactly like 2k10 when someone knocks the ball out of your hand it almost always goes back to the defense for some unknown reason. They've got to make that more of a 50/50 type of thing if they can't get it right visually.

On top of all that irregardless of casual or sim sliders steals look to be still cannimated. Brendon Haywood's steal attempt gives him a magical speed boost allowing him to catch up to Wade, even to the point of almost getting in front of him.

2k/VC has got to completely get rid of these cannimations because it's hurting the gameplay.
