How long are ppls quarters in the game and about how much points does each team usually score?

I'm used to NHL,MLB games being 30-45 mins so I'm guessing for me I should make quarters 8-10 mins, but might change my mind depending on how much mins most ppl here play and the results they get.

I play 12 minute and in 2k10 with sim sliders i usually get 110 and less

12 minutes on HoF diifuculty with real% jump shooting. Leads to extremely realistic scores and stats.

I know people don't seem to like this but i play 5 minutes. its because i play an 82 game association and i know that can be done with 12 minutes but i would get bored and sim too much. in 5 minutes it stays fresh and i can get through a few seasons without simming which is ultimately what i want.

in past games had to make sim quarter lengths like 8 minutes so scores in simmed games matched mine but it seems on sim mode it will harder to score so maybe 5 min sim quarters will be similar to my 5 minute played games.

10 min. quarters do the job for me.
