Different because of the lockout?

I would like to know everybodys feelings on this. I rented 2k12 last nite as Im a little broke right now and its gonna be a few weeks but I love the game. But Im someone who plays the sports game along with the season in real life, then I will take it to gamestop or gamers for trade in credit after 6, 7 months and put it towards the following yrs title. Now the only games I ever buy is obviously NBA 2k games, MLB the show, this yr Madden for the first time in like 5 yrs and once every now and then a black ops or something. Is the lockout effecting how much you are "into" this yrs game? For me it kinda takes some fun out of it even though its a great game though for me it might be like The Show during the winter seasons the urge or funness "if thats a word lol" out of it

I can careless about the lockout to be honest. With all the legends teams on here, I am not missing the real season at all.

It's a shame of course, and missing out on the rookies is a real downer, but at least it is a way to get at least a token remedy for our NBA fix.
