NBA 2K14 Hands-On Preview - Association Mode, Presentation, Gameplay & Online Details

Talk is cheap....and basically the association mode just the same it'saalways been....yeah might be time to try live out.

I wish they hadn't screwed with the control scheme from last year, but I'll reserve judgement until I get a hands-on of my own. I guess my concern is less about shooting vs dribbling, and more about my beloved bounce pass. Is there still a button modifier that allows a straight-up, plain jane bounce pass? If we've lost that again (after only 1 season) it's a bummer, it completely changes the game in my opinion. The other stuff sounds great, hope they fixed the playbooks this year.

The bounce pass is still in, that's been confirmed. And it's still LT+A.

A great NBA Live is what every NBA 2K fan should hope for. Competition is a great thing.

There is no shortage of threads with posts that detail the problems with Association. One can only hope 2K eventually gets the message.
