Re: NBA Live 15 Video and Blog - Offensive Improvements

Can a Gamechanger or someone from the NBA Live team tell us why Tiburon can't seem to product realistic moving players. This is not only concerning NBA Live but Madden too, also I think FIFA is a little stiff too but its not as pronounced since the players dont interact with each other as much or make as many different movements as basketball and football. Why cant a company with as many resources as EA make their players move realistically especially on the next gen consoles?

I see the improvements, but it still seems like they are taking baby steps on powerful next gen hardware. This is year 2 of 3 that Peter Moore said this franchise will be able to go head to head with the competition. What direction do they take to make the animations superior? The graphics don't look photo realistic to me looking at this new footage. I'm a little dissapointed, but I want to see them succeed.

Love how in the videos the game looks lighter than in the screen shots. So vibrant. EA paid the light bill this year.
yeah that dunk was smooth but, rose face looks a lil off to me

Live has some upsides I'm liking for their presence of physics. Imagine serious defensive rorations with a high-rated team like the grizzles or raptors

FIFA 15 collision animations are on point. Players fall and flip over each other, and it's look good in real time. That's what we want to see with Live.

Anyway I am VERY active on Both boards and see what is written, and some understand what I am saying and others Dont. Simple as that.

Live has let down before and I agree, but if people Cant see the improvements they are Blind. People want to compare the games and they cant be. Right off Live doesnt have Customization and 2k Does. But Live has chosen to Focus on other aspects and is doing a great job i think, considering what they released last year.
Hmm i dont think you know how the world works. Only 2 games on the market mean they will ALWAYS be compared. These companies are competing for peoples $$ they aren't doing this for fun.

Wrong. EA at this stage is not competing with 2K. They know it isn't a realistic goal at this point. They are simply competing with themselves, and if they have a good increase in sales this year could be a huge step in the right direction for the Live franchise. So yes, money does play a factor, so EA is smart to look at the big picture. They have the resources on hand to play that card, lol.

No you are WRONG. They are competing for something...it's called market share.

Don't get sucked up into the "marketing" aspect of it, which in this case is to downplay the game to meet consumer expectations. They succeeded with that. That's different.

This is a division of a for profit company. They have shareholders to answer to. This isn't for fun. They are very much competing to increase their market share that 2K has taken over from them.
